This is a beautiful coffee press that includes wonderful instructions on how to brew the best possible coffee. The instructions are simple to follow and really do make a wonderful cup of coffee.
The press is a thermal vessel which keeps the coffee warm long enough for me to enjoy two large mugs.
For a quality French press the price point is on the high end, but it seems worth the cost.

Having decided instant coffee wasn’t for me any longer, I bought this on the strength that the filter jug looked sturdy, easy to clean and simple to use. And so it is! It comes with a neat little glass container with a metal lid to hold a small amount of coffee grounds.
The first test was accidentally bashing the side on the tap on the way to the washing up water. Not a mark or a dint, thankfully but not to be advised!! It stands well and feels good in the hand, very well-balanced and easy to pour the coffee out with no drips in the saucer. The instructions were easy to understand although I did find finding the ideal water level a bit of a test (but the instructions say you should find the ideal settings to fit your own taste so that’s fair enough). The coffee tasted excellent and as I’d warmed the jug up prior to using it, the coffee stayed hot for two leisurely cups and a biscuit.
The jug and filter were washed up without any drama. Very easy to clean and reassemble ready for the next time.

This is great: sturdy, keeps the coffee hot for a while BUT (!) I got the grey colour and after a while the colour coating on the outside starts peeling off. So you end up with a mangy looking pot for a fair while until all that colour coating has come off and you’re left with a stainless steel one. Which is fine, but had I known I would have just gone for the plain steel one in the first place….instead I have little grey flakes on my kitchen counter. But as a cafetière it’s the best!!! Buy it!

Lovely looking jug and it works really well. Previous reviews state that the coating comes off but it is textured and only needs washing gently with a soft cloth and drying gently. No need to scrub. Clear instructions and easy to use. It makes a lovely coffee. It looks smart in my kitchen as well. I’d definitely recommend. 10/10.

Sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Funktioniert einwandfrei und ist sehr stabil. Perfekt für unterwegs. Die Kaffeedose ist für mich persönlich etwas zu klein aber trotzdem schön und gut verarbeitet. Ist sehr gut und sicher verpackt angekommen. Sogar einen kleinen Untersetzer gibt es dazu. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I am very impressed with this cafetiere. I’ve been using a cheap plastic one and to be fair it has been very good but it cracked at the bottom so I needed a new one because I love my coffee. I ruled out the glass ones for obvious reasons and chose this one. It really is very good and I am impressed with the quality and it looks good on my worktop. I can get 2 mugs filled to the max line and it stays hot for about an hour. I love the little mini container though I’m unsure what to use it for as it is very small. I’m now looking at the Gator containers and will be buying some in the near future.

Choice of colors was a nice touch. It kept the coffee warmer, longer than a glass French press but not by a lot, at least while camping. Nice that it is unbreakable though. The little jar, while very cute would not hold enough grounds for a full pot. I would buy this again should I need that type of gift for someone. Gave it a 4 on flavor as that really has more to do with the grounds you use.

Old review is below and pictures removed. Coffee Gator has completely taken care of my damaged unit and is sending a replacement. I suspect Amazon’s QA let it slip through the cracks, and not Coffee Gator. I will update this review when I finally make some coffee- but this product deserves 5 stars alone just based on the customer service interactions. They make a quality product and stand by it 100%.
Possibly got an overstock Item, possibly preused. Mine arrived with many scratches and gouges in the paint, on both the French press and accessory stoage container. The box looked preopened.
Design preference wise, the screen makes an unpleasant sound against the inside wall, probably not a functionally bad thing, just sounds bad. Also the paint feels like sandpaper, it feels unpleasant to touch. The pictures make it look smooth.
I’m sure it functionally works well, many people here like it, and I bought it based on those reivews, just not the best QC. This could be an issue on Amazon’s end and not the manufacturer.
Despite the scratches and screen rubbing noise I’d probably keep it if the unit felt good to touch, which it doesn’t, feels like sandpaper. They should make the paint similar to the Klean Kanteen bottles, thick and smooth, they could even make it matter finish instead of glossy.
I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately I’ll be returning this. I’m sure it makes good coffee though.

Coffee has never tasted so good,it stays warm enough for a second cup, it doesn’t leak when you pour the Coffee out. It’s easy to clean, it’s a perfect weight so feels balanced while pouring. And the biggest plus I can’t smash it like the glass ones it’s really well made and will hopefully last years.

I chose this because I’m always breaking the glass French press jugs. This one is perfect, very stylish colour and shape and great value. Keeps the coffee hot for ages. Just great for four cups and pours well and obviously unbreakabke!
