There was some slight scratches to the rail fixings. I found it quite difficult to remove the papers off the adhesive strips. I had to mount it lower than I wanted on my high gloss white vanity unit because of having to remove the rail unit for the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before placing the rail back on the fixings. It could not go on the wall as the bathroom has slightly textured shower boards all round the walls. It is not really going to have much weight on it with just a small hand towel. Hopefully it will hold as I have previously used some other command hooks in my bathroom and one in my open porch and they have been attached well for three years now. The overall quality of the rail is not of great quality but is fit for the purpose intended.

I’ve bought command products in the past and it seems their quality has dropped massively. I bought hooks that all fell within hours or days when ones from years back are still going strong but decided to give this a go looking at reviews. What a mistake. The adhesive was awful of faulty and wouldn’t even stick to my finger let alone a wall and it’s not metal as advertised – cheap plastic and it looks it. It costs a lot for an item that won’t do its purpose and looks like it shouldn’t cost more than £3. Won’t be buying command items anymore. Can’t even return it unless I’m willing to buy a printer to print a return label which will cost more than this – ridiculous!

Really sturdy, don’t place over or near a radiator as the adhesive doesn’t last with the heat. This is the only reason for losing 1 star. Ideally would have liked it to stay over the radiator to keep hand towel dry in the bathroom. Relocated with replacement stickers from command and it’s lasted really well even with my heavy handed son. Looks like a good quality fixture

This fits in well into our shower cubicle. It is a similar material to the cubicle itself so looks as if it was supplied with it. No problem fitting it and it has remained firm to the tiles for well over 12 months, well pleased.

I bought the dryer holder so that I can rest hair dryer while blowing my hair. It is pretty sturdy and sticks well to the wall. Haven’t tried peeling it off yet.

The Satin Nickel finish is very nice, and the metal is strong and sturdy. However, after about a week’s use, the soap dish fell off the wall. I did make sure that the wall (which is a smooth bathroom tile) was cleaned thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, and allowed to dry. The command adhesive was applied as instructed, and I did make sure to press the adhesive for more than 30 seconds, and allowed to cure for 24 hours. So I basically had to use another heavy duty double sided tape to do the job correctly.

Needed a small hand towel holder for our guest room toilet. Have used Command products before so had no reason to doubt this wouldn’t be any good.
Planned on sticking the holder onto porcelain tiles. Cleaned the area thoroughly (used sticky stuff remover as a cleaning agent) and applied the stickers as per the instructions. Stuck the towel holders into position and left it 24 hours before attaching the towel rail.
It’s now been over a week since I did this and the towel rail is still very firmly attached to the wall and is the perfect size for a hand towel.
