Die COSORI Heißluftfritteuse Airfryer überzeugt durch ihre einfache Bedienung und hervorragende Ergebnisse. Die 11 voreingestellten Programme machen die Nutzung intuitiv, und die XXL-Größe bietet genügend Platz für große Portionen. Besonders praktisch ist der spülmaschinenfeste Korb, der die Reinigung erleichtert. Das Gerät arbeitet leise und macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Auch das moderne Design ist ein Pluspunkt. Wer eine zuverlässige und vielseitige Heißluftfritteuse sucht, wird mit diesem Modell definitiv zufrieden sein. Absolut empfehlenswert!

I had a Tefal air fryer which was fairly limited in what it could do as it had a paddle but we used it quite often for about the last 7 years or more. However the energy crisis and the fact that our oven has packed up simply had me looking around for a new air fryer. I did my research and realised I didn’t need a ninja so anything with a good review will do. The Instant pot was out of stock and by chance the Cosori popped up and after checking couple of reviews and online videos I opted for the Cosori as it’s sleek design also caught my eye along with the excellent feedback as well as the FB community pages packed with recipes. Their 2 year warranty was reassuring as I had never heard of this brand. I ordered and it arrived within 2 days which was a surprise but most welcome.
I must say it’s an absolute gem so far as it cooks food in half the the time of my old Tefal pad airfryer. I did some chicken thighs in about 14mins (10 min press and I added 4 to brown it a bit more). I cooked some sausages from frozen in 10 mins and added an extra 3 mins to get them brown). This morning I boiled some eggs in 10 mins so no steamy kitchen and no need to watch the pot.
The glass tempered screen on the top is clear and pretty idiot proof imho but some may think differently. The presets can be amended as you can alter the temperature and the time which is excellent so there’s plenty of flexibility.
The overall design is very pleasing to the eye and differs from the usual Air fryer styles which are a bit ugly but that’s just me.
The tray is nice and solid and fits nice and easy without any fuss. The fact that the pan is square is a bonus especially when cooking a joint. Also cleaning it it with a sponge and soap and water is a 2 minute job so no hassle there.
The preheat is 4 mins but you can alter it so not really a problem but you can go manual and not bother with a preheat.
I will be cooking a couple of rump steaks later tonight so I may report back on how it went. I followed an online recipe and ignored the preset so it cooked a much lower temperature and for longer. FOLLOWUP: The steak looked and tasted great however next time I will try the preset which a higher temperature was only 6 mins.
I will be putting it to the test with a whole chicken come the weekend so wish me luck!
FOLLOW UP: The medium chicken from Aldi fitted nicely in the tray and after seasoning I gave it 60 mins in the Cosori with a turnover after 30 mins. I think I could have gotten away with 45 mins but I wanted to be sure it was cooked. The chicken tasted great nice and soft and juicy and the missus said it was the best meal I’ve made her.
Next on my list is a leg of lamb. FOLLOW UP: The 1.5 kg leg of lamb fitted nicely in the tray as I looked for a more square piece with less bone. After defrosting it I seasoned it with 2 tablespoons of oil, salt and pepper, garlic powder and mixed herbs. I left it covered for a few hours in the fridge. And took it out an hour prior to cooking to get it to room temperature. I set it at 180c for 20mins then turned it over and gave it another 40 mins. I like it well done and checked it with a knife. I let it rest for 10-15mins and served it with steamed veggies. The missus gave me 10/10 as it was well cooked, tender and juicy. Another great result and it seems I’m now cooking every Sunday.
it comes with a 2 year warranty, manual, recipe book and access to the app which has more recipes in it. Also there’s a FB community and oodles of recipes online.
Overall for the price you will not be disappointed as I certainly wasn’t.

I bought two of these on special and now they are my go to mode of cooking. They heat quickly, and with the crisper plate, they cook so efficiently and evenly; and best of all… fast!
Cleaning is a piece of doddle in my dishwasher as the whole basket is non-stick. I also bought a job lot of 100 paper liners for £4.99 on Amazon that have been invaluable in keeping the machine clean so I don’t have to wash the basket every time.
So far I have made the best (fast) roast potatoes, moist turkey crown roast, breakfast ‘all in’ sausages, mushrooms and bacon; and little 69p Tesco fresh mini pizzas (with a few embellished added toppings) make fabulous cheap fast snacks in minutes.
Adapting recipes, temperatures and timings is a learning curve, but I now make notes for future use… I have a temperature probe that I have been using as I can’t quite believe how quick this airfryer cooks foods. Unfortunately, because the drawer fits in so precisely, there is no way to cook using my wired meat probe inserted during cooking unless I splashed out on a new wireless Bluetooth one, but with time my confidence will grow and I won’t need to use the temp probe as much to check if meat/poultry is cooked through.
I’ve had a tefal family actifry (with stirrer) for years and love it too; but this airfryer knocks spots of it as it’s so much quieter and less fiddly to keep clean.
The window is a game changer and makes all the difference as it removes a lot of the guesswork as you can see how your food is cooking and browning without having to open the drawer.
10/10 from me. I paid £79.99 on special, and then paid £14.50 for a pathetic metal rack to allow layer cooking, but that was too fiddly trying to work out timings and temperatures for 2 different layered foods, so I just returned it and invested that £14.50 towards a second identical airfryer so I could cook roast potatoes and accompanying meats more efficiently.
I now roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips all at the same time and they taste so wonderful. Even my hubby is loving all the food I am preparing.
Highly recommended if you can get these machines on offer

I feel spoiled using this thing! It’s so nice and I got it on sale which pfft what a find I’m so happy! This thing has that glass touch top which I’ve never felt such a simple and easily responsive touch panel like this one! And it works so well, my bad I’ve never used the disposable wax paper inserts which I bought a bulk pack after my last air fryer my elder daughter got oil cooked on the inside and cooked on oil is impossible to get out of all the nooks in any air fryer and just gets worse with time, so that wax paper inserts I thought what a genius idea do I bought em and popped one of these baddies in when I preheated my brand new air fryer up and uhh omg the ding dong hidden within me must have bubbled up when using this air fryer for the first time maybe it was I had covid brewing in me I dunno but it’s a big No No to put anything in the air fryer that’s not heavily seated in there because that fan will blow it up into the burners duh! Well I started smelling smoke and you ahh crud man I got a bummer fryer… NOPE I just pulled a dingy move and that paper liner had blown up and caught fire inside LOL well, I quickly pulled out the basket and dumped that smoldering paper into the sink and in water it went, looked inside to make sure the machine wasn’t ablaze, and alls well thankfully!! Lesson learned don’t play with things that can catch fire when you’re not feeling 100%!
So I decided to do it right and add my food to a new wax paper liner and it cooked to perfection real fast I might add!! I’m super impressed with my new gorgeous air fryer!!! It is seemingly large yes I’ll give it that and takes up a good deal of space but it’s so worth it to me!! Heating up an entire oven for something that’s a very small fraction of the size of an oven seems silly! Cooking a turkey it a huge family casserole well that’s another thing isn’t it lol! This model came highly recommended, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. It’s perfect for foods that typically come out of a deep fryer, like French fries and chicken fingers. The unit cooks efficiently, and I’ve found that most cooking times and temperatures can be reduced significantly. The ability to pull out the tray mid-cooking to check progress or use a food thermometer is handy, and unique to air fryers and the pull out drawer feature.
Cleaning is a breeze. The removable grate is easy to clean, and the non-stick coating has held up well through repeated use. I’ve discovered the best way to clean it is to let it cool, fill it with water and dish soap, and leave it to soak overnight. This makes cleanup quick and effortless.
