You have to be at least 6ft to open umbrella on stand otherwise it has to taken off stand to.erect.You have to manually pull it down same way as above and youd.better be strong.I saw a similar set in Tesco with a wind.up umbrella for LESS than 1/2 ,what.I paid. Ps be careful chairs when you think they’re fully open they’re not.Trouble is its.v strong and will last a lot longer than you or me…..Wish I’d gone.to Tesco!

this is a nice set of garden furniture, it seems well made and sturdy. easy to put together and well packaged, fast delivery. the table is a good size for what i need and looks great in my garden, chairs are quite wide, good sized and comfortable. parasol sits a bit high for my liking but does the job when we get the sun. I can recommend this set and doesn’t break the bank .

Chairs are great – solid and well made. Very comfy for the price. Don’t need extra cushions.
Table is very wobbly. It sways when I put a glass of water down on it. Not sure that it will hold up to 4 people having dinner.
