We had the merlin 360 for our first son and loved it. With having a new born I wanted the most recent I size safety standards and purchased this.

It doesn’t feel as well built as the Merlin. The isofix is fiddly to fit and actually feels really flimsy. Even when connected as tight as it can the seat wobbles excessely in my opinion. Our Joie on the other hand barely moves.

The design is flawed, the release button you use to spin is fine, until it’s in reward facing mode. The isofix base covers the button so if you have large hands it makes it really difficult and uncomfortable to release, you also need to press another button at the same time.

We have a very large baby, 64cm and less than 5 months old. The instructions advise against the baby inserts. The reward facing mode is far to verticle, it’s nothing like the picture that looks nice and reclined. Baby’s neck would be flopping forward the whole time.

Overall unimpressed and will be returning, I liked the aspect of it been a multi stage seat. However the execution and quality isn’t there.
