A larger cup fits under unlike our old machine which only had espresso cups that fitted. Makes great coffee and easy to use. Frother not as good as old machine.

Update 18 days since purchasing: – Milk frother is temperamental, often makes loud “squeal” – Coffee produced with lovely crema. Have been able to produce just the right taste/richness of coffee with a thick crema so that I would be able to enjoy my coffee without dairy. – I generally use the espresso making button to produce hot water first, do that twice, then throw out the water before fitting the portafilter securely and making my coffee, a best buy having almost got over my concerns about plastic…
——‐‐—-‐——‐‐—-‐——‐‐—-‐——‐‐—-‐ Lost one star due to vile plasticy taste of hot water that was produced by this espresso machine when I decided not to use my kettle this one time! Just to check that it was not due to ineffective water filter, I boiled water using my kettle and found the taste to be clear unlike the hot water from the espresso machine.
Several attempts later, the hot water from the espresso machine still tasted bad.
Was quite certain I would return it but would face a bad attitude from local AnPost postal staff and would cost much much more to post it back than the £9.00 postage refund that Amazon offers!

I don’t use the steam wand for the milk, check another review for that.
The coffee machine itself works well with ground beans, takes very little time to warm up and it’s good to go. Very easy to clean the filter too.
One complaint is that it vibrates far too much. Ideally you would fill the bottom of the device with something to weight it down, like water.

After only a month of use it suddenly couldn’t be stopped by the brew button and was just buzzing and pushing out cold water through the filter any time it was on, and then I unplugged it and left it for several hours and it did make a coffee but the machine was leaking cold water from the sides the whole time. Having to return it.

I’ve had quite a few if similar espresso makers. They all had 15 bar pumps and all worked reasonably well until they gave up the ghost usually around the 12 months mark. This one is different. It’s much quicker, produces more krema and gives really nice hot coffee. Could it be because it has a 20 bar pump? I don’t know but it seems likely. Couple that to a very competitive price and a 3 year guarantee which makes it easily the best I ever had.
