I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3520, and unfortunately, I’ve been experiencing issues with the built-in camera. Despite resetting the camera settings and restarting the laptop multiple times, the camera either displays black layers or remains completely unresponsive.
I’ve attempted various troubleshooting steps on my own, but the issue persists. Given that this is a new laptop, I expected better performance from the camera. This has been quite frustrating, especially when I need to use it for video calls or work.
I would appreciate any assistance from Dell Support or other users who might have encountered a similar problem.

Upgraded from a very old Lap top to this and the difference is even better than I expected . Easy to set up . Fast processor and memory, hard disk capacity/speed for all my day to day use . It was also on offer at a competitive price !

The laptop does not have a backlit keyboard as described. Otherwise it is fine and works well. A bit of a noisy fan sometimes and the screen is not great quality, I had better images on my 10 year old Toshiba.

Patched up well the screen of the 14″ laptop that went partial black. Plugged the external monitor in, had the broken screen mirrored on the external monitor. Sorted. Getting one or more extra monitors is still an option.
