    I wasn’t sure what to expect from such a cheap hairdryer . . . not much, if truth be told. However, I was very pleasantly when I first turned it on, it may be small, but it’s mighty in power!

    It has three speed settings and there is a marked difference between speeds 1 and 2, however I didn’t discern much of a difference between 2 and 3, but two is more than powerful enough. There is also a button to switch between hot air and cold air, so you can have the three speeds in hot or cold air.

    I have an old ‘professional’ hairdryer that is more than likely older than most of the people reading this review and this new kid on the block is more powerful than my faithful old ‘stalwart’, however it is yet to be seen whether it has the same longevity as my old dryer, I doubt it, but then it is ten times cheaper and I do have my old one as a backup now!

    In conclusion at £16.99 at time of review it is fantastic value for money!

    I’m really pleased with this hair dryer. It’s powerful and dries my hair quickly without overheating, and the diffuser works well for enhancing natural waves. The three temperature settings and two speed options give good control, and I especially like the cold shot button to set my style. It’s not too heavy, so comfortable to hold for longer use. Ideal for both home and travel. Great value for the features it offers.

    Unlike other hair dryers this works in an opposite way. Rather than blowing hot air this blows cool air. To get the warm air one has to press and hold the button.

    It may be a little strange for some but I do find the switch and button work well. The switch controls the air speed and regardless of low or high fan speed the air is cool. Pressing the button heats up the air at the speed that is set by the switch. Usually it’s the switch that controls the heat and the button to get cool air.

    Although this doesn’t actually get too hot, which might disappoint some, it does warm up enough so having that cool and warm air option is all one really needs as excess heat damages hair and cooler air, with slower drying, s better for styling.

    The dryer is made to a good quality standard, with good quality materials, it’s lightweight and the button / switch are almost perfectly placed on the handle.

    Given the position of the button / switch this product will be so easy to use for most people as there will be no need to pause to check the position of the controls as they can easily be got at without moving one’s hand. Add to that the light weight of this dryer and it is just so simple to handle.

    One thing that concerns many when it comes to electrical products is the safety due to the number of product recalls and the number of fake products on the market. With this dryer there is no concern, it is the real deal, it is up to UK safety standards, with a BSI safety number rather than the oldinferior EU marking. When the UK went into the EU we actually lowered our safety standards to match those of continental Europe, rather than them improving theirs. NOw we have started returning to the old superior standards a BS number is worth much more than a simple EU mark. To get authority to use a BS number a manufacturer has to meet very high quality standards of safety. To show the difference in standards, one nation (the usual culprit) actually tried to get the EU to enforce the UK to switch it electrical system to the two pin plug system, which meand there’ll be no earth wire to protect from electrical shock. So, this dryer is of a high standard and although it doesn’t have too much power behind it it does have enough to do a good job.

    Moving away from the use of the dryer and it’s safety I do like the colour of it. Rather than the usual dull, boring plain black or white this dryer has a nice dark battleship grey colour to it, with a lovely purple /pink trim. It’s shaped like a hammer (T shaped) and that is what makes it so easy to access the switch / button.

    Overall this is a good quality product that is safe to use, it’s easy to use and it is good value so I am recommending it. However, it would be nice if one sees an improved version that gives just a little more heat and a little more fan strength.

    Sehr guter Föhn, Haare sind sofort trocken auf kleinster Stufe.
    Hat insgesamt 3 Gebläsestufen und 3 Hitzestufen sowie eine Kalttaste.
    Einen Metallfilter im Griff, den man leicht reinigen kann.
    Kein statisches Aufladen der Haare mehr!
    Föhn ist insgesamt auch sehr leicht und liegt gut in der Hand!
