Good product, but for 4 screws and 2 bits of plastic it is probably overpriced, lost a star as the bottom screw on my right hand side bracket is smaller than the hole so if I tighten it up then it just goes flush against the wall, however the top screw is holding the bracket on the wall and i have loosened the bottom screw so that the bracket hits the screw with any movement so it seems to work fine for the moment, the sticky parts that go on top of the screw area means this is not visible, the left side bracket is fine.
Update:
I have changed my rating to a 5 star, dockem contacted me following my previous review and are going to be sending me a new bracket and allowed me to keep the first. I would have given the product 4 star originally without the hole issue but dockem are the first company to contact me following an Amazon review to ask about the fault in the product and not try to defend an the issue, they also acknowledged what I said about the price and I take on board that this is a niche market and manufacturing costs for each component are going to be higher when a product is not produced on a mass scale.

I decided to repurpose a Kindle Fire 7 as a permanent console for my Home Automation and needed a low cost way of fixing it to my wall. These Koala 2.0 Universal Mounts from Dockem are ideal. They’re made from plastic that has a certain amount of malleability, which means they’re not brittle and will withstand being used. They come with four sets of self adhesive rubber padding strips, depending on the tablet you’re using you might have to combine two sets to get the perfect fit (as I did). The built in cable guides allow you to route the charging cable across the bottom of the tablet and it will be hidden from view, and will also retain the cable if you need to remove the tablet. The design of the sides of these bracket allows access to the volume controls of the Kindle Fire, but it depends on the placement of the controls on whichever tablet you are using. It is obvious a lot of thought has gone into this product when you see the progress from its predecessors.
The only negative I can see is that the holes for the supplied screws are slightly too big, and if overtightened the screw heads could force their way through and so not hold the bracket. But anyone that’s at all DIY competent shouldn’t have any issues. If you don’t want to drill holes in your wall, two command strips are supplied, I didn’t use those so I can’t speak to their suitability.
I would certainly recommend these, and would definitely buy more if I need to attach any more tablets (or even mobile phones) to the wall.

I regularly use my iPad to watch the morning news, whilst taking a shower.
Even in this moist environment, I know that my iPad is very safe, securely fastened to the wall.
The v2.0 even holds my iPad, complete with a keyboard case, folded behind it.
It’s an ideal fit!
The v1.0 I use in my shed, to watch streaming TV and movies (I spend a lot of time in there!).
The V1 fits my iPad case, but not quite with the keyboard. This is, also, ideal, because the spacing of the two hooks means there is room for my keyboard portion of the case to hang down, so I can still use it…bonus!
If these hooks ever fail (which I cannot see happening!), I know I will be straight back to buy more.
Thinking of just how easy they are to install, I will probably buy more, f9r different rooms in the house.

Bought to hold my new Amazon Fire HD 8. Used the 3M Command Adhesive strips to put temporarily on the wall in the kitchen,as knew I’d be decorating shortly. Easy to set up and extremely secure. It’s easy to simply lift out the tablet and drop it back in again when I’ve finished with it and when I take it out, I can tuck the charging cable onto the side of the plastic holder to save it from dropping down to the worktop.
Started decorating now and have taken it down, took a lot of tugging pull them off the wall, but extremely surprised it left no mark.
Such a simple design, but does the job perfectly. Very impressed!

I wanted to buy the Amazon Echo Show but don’t like the reviews yet, so to get the access to recipes and videos I want to watch in my kitchen, I decided to install an older iPad on my kitchen wall.
These brackets are EXACTLY what I wanted. They are inexpensive but NOT cheap. They are made of durable materials and come with adhesive strips AND screws & anchors to install it to your wall. I used the adhesive to place the brackets where I wanted them (using a paper template to emulate my iPad), and then screwed them into the wall. The brackets are very sturdy!
I read reviews about how others had their tablets fall and break because the brackets “didn’t hold them”, but that has to be because the buyers did not screw them into the wall.
Additionally, the brackets come with 3 sizes of silicone inserts to make your tablet fit snugly, AND there are notches on the bottom so your power cord can be tucked away at the bottom. I can remove my iPad easily or leave it inside the brackets on the wall. Either way, this product is awesome. I am very happy and love the fact that I have access at my fingertips to whatever online content I want.

Very nice dock. It was easy to put up. I used the sticky pads provided. I use it for my Sony z tablet and it fits perfectly. I even have a flip over case on my tablet and it fits into the dock with the case on. The slots on the sides is great because the speakers on my tablet are positioned at the bottom so they don’t get blocked. My charger port for the tablet is on the underside and is not blocked by the dock. I used the slots at the bottom to keep a charging cable permanently hooked to the side of the dock so I don’t have to keep looking for the cable when I need to charge. I purchased 2 of them, the second was for my Samsung S7. That also fits fine even with my teck21 case on the phone.

Excelente soporte para móviles o tabletas. Diseño sencillo que no resalta demasiado, pero a la vez muy firme. El adhesivo excelente. Yo lo he usado provisionalmente y cuando lo quité, retiré con sumo cuidado todo el adhesivo de la pared y no dejó marca ni se llevó la pintura, pero mientras estuvo pegado no se movió ni un milímetro. Soporte altamente recomendable.

Did the job for me . Everything I needed was in the box . It would probably be better in landscape because my Fire 8 is a bit wobbly at the back . I use the tablet to control my Sonos and a radiator so it’s not going to get much hammer . Not many other options on the market so went for this and happy enough.
