We love Dormeo mattresses, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive the one shown in the picture/description! It’s an okay mattress if you’re looking for something very soft. We bought this type of mattress from the Dormeo website in 2018, and it was time to replace it, but the king size was out of stock. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. Sadly, after waiting 24 hours, the mattress never reached the 24 cm height and was also slightly smaller in width. It’s very wobbly and too soft.
Compared to our old (same) mattress, this one is missing the top memory foam layer, the bottom sponge, and the non-slip cover. We tried to sleep on it, but with our divan bed, the mattress keeps drifting away from the base because of the lack of a non-slip bottom. It’s labeled as medium firm, but the original mattress was definitely medium firm, and it provided excellent support for back pain. What we received under this product name will likely cause back pain instead. Additionally, the mattress has a strange smell, like chemicals from hair dye. It’s now day 3, and the whole house smells. Unfortunately, we needed to return it. 🙁 luckily Amazon is providing excellent customer service as always.

I needed a new bed badly, but was on a tight budget but at the same time I didn’t want any old bed that wasn’t going to support me and give me restless nights. I researched beds for a while and found this one.
The Dormeo Options Hybrid is just marvellous. It’s comfortable, quiet, supportive, warm and cosy. Delivery was quick and it comes rolled up in plastic and in a box. Instructions are clear and the bed expands very quickly, so be careful! I allowed to air before using, as instructed and my first night was wonderful. Few months later and I’m sleeping better than ever. My back pains have almost disappeared and I feel refreshed.
Best purchase I’ve made on a bed in a long long time.

This mattress is much firmer than I thought it would be, compared to other reviews I had read and also I thought it was really good quality for the price. However, as this is in my guest room and I can only write about having opened it and briefly laid on it, I can’t give a complete review. My son used it for 3 nights just after purchase and he found it very comfortable. All in all, I’m glad I bought it.

I’ve had this mattress a couple of months now and I’m really happy I bought it, I’d seen adverts on tv for a dormeo so I came to amazon to see if I could get it cheaper and I did. I had an old mattress with massive springs coming through so it was time to ditch that and invest in something better and i opted for the dormeo and I’m glad I did. Im hoping it will last for years yet but so far so good as it is a much better mattress than my last one, and I’m very happy I bought it.

We bought this mattress as we were sleeping on an 11 year old basic sprung mattress, and were waking with general aches and pains each morning.
Well, what can I say except I wish I had bought this mattress sooner! It is extremely supportive, feeling as though it moulds slightly to the contours of the body, filling the gaps between the body and the surface of the mattress. This has the effect of feeling warm and cosy.
I now fall asleep much quicker than I used to as I’m no longer spending time trying to find a comfortable position. Where I lay is where I fall asleep.
I tried using my mattress topper with it when I first bought it but I find the mattress is more comfortable without.
I bought this early January, so I’m yet to find out what it’s like in the warm summer months.
The only problem is that both me and my partner don’t want to get out of bed now… it’s just too comfy!!!

Really pleased with my purchase and at a great price too as I managed to bag it on Amazon’s Black Friday Deals! I do suffer with severe back pain and I knew my current mattress at the time had to go so after reading practically all of the reviews other customers had wrote and also the manufacturers description I went with the decision to purchase it and I can honestly say I’m not disappointed!! It’s a great mattress and I would seriously recommend this to others who are considering purchasing a new mattress.
The only issue I did experience was when UPS came to deliver the mattress. Because I live in a flat on the second floor, the delivery driver informed me that the mattress was too heavy for him to carry up the stairs (no lift available) and was there someone else within the block who could help assist him?? Unfortunately their wasn’t plus I wouldn’t want to ask so he then suggested he’d leave it in the foyer area until someone was available to help me which as you can imagine was a BIG NO NO!!!! After going back and forth the only solution we could both agree on was for me to help him so with him kindly giving me the awkward end where I was walking up the stairs backwards we finally made it to my front door where I could get the box inside…(relief). What did make me laugh though after I’d thanked him for his outstanding service (slight exaggeration) was for him to suggest that I’d send an email of praise to his line manager back at the local UPS depot I suppose suggesting how helpful he was….??? It’s safe to say that I’m still pondering on what to write in that email…!
Thank you Dormeo and thank you Amazon but not so much UPS the delivery company.
