   Really like the looks of this. Already have a Dualit Toaster which has been great and lasted for years so I am a fan of the brand. Purchased this to replace a more expensive Kitchen Aid Kettle that had temperature control and a large capacity so I was a little hesitant as to how it would compare. Boils fairly quick and is really quiet – so much so that I thought it was faulty for a brief moment on first switch on. Perfect size to make 2-3 cups at a time and looks good in black. Unfair to make a direct comparison to my old kettle but for the price I am more than happy with this. Decent price for a decent brand in my opinion.

   Hadn’t thought about the technology in kettle design but this easy pour m’larky is pretty clever. Particularly useful when only wanting enough for one person. That also means it scores well for energy use as it’s still easy to pour with the minimum level of water for a hot drink. Well designed and a good quality build so it’s worth paying for.

   Having had the Dualit lite for 9 years I was very disappointed in the very expensive Classic I bought to replace it with, the on light failed after 2 weeks & I returned it! Not giving up easily I decided to try the studio! I bought the black to match my black lite toaster & so glad I did! Lightweight, easy flip lid to fill boils quick & looks very stylish! Highly recommend as delighted with it & less than half the price of the classic!

   This kettle is fabulous. Very stylish. Great value for money. The numbers are large and I like that you can see the water boiling behind the numbers. The on button is also large and easy to flick on, it lights up red too when on. I love that the kettle feels a bit retro to me with it’s round style and round on button. I love the shiney black, I think it’s easier to keep visibly clean compared to matt black or steel. The lid doesn’t need detached to fill & this is a big plus in my book. I have never thought about ‘the pour’ before with a kettle but read about it a lot in previous reviews. Now I realise! The pour is excellent, it pours at a great angle requiring less of a tip. I also think this means less spills, certainly less than my previous kettle. It’s also light weight. I’m very glad our old kettle packed in, I just love this one.

   I’m so sick of cheap, rubbish on Amazon, so it was a great relief and extremely satisfying to receive the best kettle I have ever used, which feels basic, but just really good quality!
   It is simple and self-explanatory, no bells and whistles (except arguably the protection for no water which is more of a safety feature and very welcome), extremely robust, functionally perfect* (except one-hand suggestion below) and looks quite good too.
   No leaks, pours really great (feels like magic) with no splash or too low angles, very easy to place on base, strong and reliable attached lid (*perhaps one-handed opening functionality would be even better), two clear and straightforward water level marked windows (# cups on one side, litres on other), satisfying clicky switch with LED inside the switch (and no large gaps around the switch to collect dust or the occasional moth – which has perplexingly happened to me before with my old kettle), no weird smell, easy to grip and hold, lightweight, fairly well insulated from heat and quite a lot quieter than my old kettle.
   I thoroughly recommend this kettle if you just want to make multiple cups of tea without effort or thought.
   DISCLAIMER: mine is still brand new so let’s see if it lasts for many years with similar, consistent performance.
   …Dammit, I took so long to write this review that my tea got cold!

   Great kettle from a British firm. Only thing I would improve upon is putting a temp setting on it but I knew this before purchase.

   Great kettle. Really pleased with it. Looks good. Pours perfectly. I have arthritis in my fingers and this kettle handle is very comfortable to hold. Can’t think of anything that could improve it.
