The Duronic jug blender BL16 features a powerful 500W motor, ensuring smooth and efficient blending. This electric smoothie maker has a unique four-blade design with two blades angled up and two down, allowing for thorough blending of a wide range of ingredients. Bought for my elderly mum to make her own protein smoothies for when she needs more nutritional intake. Blends well even with frozen fruit, good alternative to more expensive makes. You do however have to hold the power button to blend your required consistency but otherwise works great as a smoothie maker.

I like to make protein shakes and no matter how vigorously I shake the shaker there are always clumps. This machine has completely transformed this. A quick blend and there are no clumps whatsoever. It makes protein shakes a breeze and now I add further ingredients to maximise the goodness. Very easy to set up and you don’t need a manual. Easy to clean, good suction to the surface and small surface area. Comes with a bottle you can take away with you if you aren’t able to drink it there and then. Fantastic so far.

Very good blender, was very happy. Made my third dressing and now the lid is stuck on the beaker. No way to get it off. Tried everything, next step is forcing it off with pliers. First two times I was very happy with it.

This was on sale and I wanted something to make the odd smoothie or protein shake. This does the job nicely at a great price. The machine is sturdy and well made. The cup is easy to clean and there’s a lid for when you want to take it with you. The only downside is I am not sure how sturdy the flip drink lid is so wouldn’t want to trust it being in my work bag….
There’s usefull little suckers on the base to keep it steady when using. Isn’t too noisy too.
