Even my 93 year old mother who has very poor eyesight can use this, although I’ve turned off the texting

Very ill thought out mobile intended for elderly. All they needed to do was leave the back off before sending it so that the elderly person can put in their sim and put the back on themselves. A phone that is impossible to insert sim and battery is totally useless until you embarrassingly get someone to force it off , or chuck it in the bin in frustration. The back is extremely difficult even for a young person to remove yet they claim it’s designed for the elderly. They really must hate us old arthritic ex customers.

The Easyphone T200 GSM phone was a replacement for a previous model that had lasted several years of use (the only problem was a faulty charging base unit). The new model has a few minor improvements but is basically the same device.

Unfortunately the battery provided with the new phone was faulty. I contacted the supplier, FamFun Direct and they immediately arranged for a replacement battery to be shipped to me. Being shipped from China this took a couple of weeks to arrive, but this solved the problem. Fortunately the battery from the old phone worked in the new so there was no loss of service.

Unfortunately this was needed urgently for my mum in a care home. The sounder does not work and no matter how many adjustments are made it is still silent. She has kept it as without she is isolated

I bought this in the hope it would be a simple basic phone for my mother in law who has just been diagnosed with dementia. The quick dialing is hard for her. You need to press the number for a few seconds without pressing it again. It doesn’t help when you have young social workers telling her they don’t understand it. She can no longer write or read a text with it. The screen is too small.
All I can say is be careful for who you are buying it for.
