I have 4 Einhell battery Xchange tools now; A strimmer, a long reach hedge trimmer, a mini chainsaw and now this grass and shrub cutter. This is hands down the best one to use (with the chainsaw a close second though that wont get as much use as this will) Tool head changing is easy and intuitive, weight is good – even for someone who has arthritis and importantly control is easy unlike the long reach hedge trimmer. Trimming the lavender plants this afternoon was a breeze and the test area of my smaller leylandii hedge was good but I won’t use it for the extra long run of hedging (that will have to be done with the bigger trimmer) . This is one of those tools that will get used probably 4 times a year for various jobs but still good to have. Already had the batteries and charger so this was a good buy.

I already had the big boy 36v and 18v Einhell hedge trimmers but wanted something smaller to cut under the hedges and also trim grass around shrubs.
This hand held trimmer is small and lightweight and copes perfectly well with grass and hedges which aren’t too thick. The only irritation is the safety switch which you have to push whilst pulling the trigger, which you can do one handed but it is harder with gloves on.
Battery life from a 2Ah battery is excellent. Great addition to the hedge cutting arsenal.

Have several Einhell products and so it was a no brainier to get these. The wife loves this as it is lightweight and easy to use.

The shrub shears are OK but will only cut very thin stems – and the stems get caught in the shears quite a lot. The grass shears work much better, especially in tight corners or by a fence but find it easier to use them sitting down on a garden stool. On balance, they are reasonable value for money, certainly quicker than strumming and trimming using hand tools.
