Good piece of kit works well, only down side for the old person is the on if switch is to low if used in conjunction with the hand handle half up the pole. It’s not a light weight tool so try one before buying. Shame a battery us nit included in the price.

This is a handy item to have for high hedging and great there’s no cables to get in the way. However, as a small elderley female this item is very heavy! and even more so with the battery in and I only got the 2.5 one. I thought this would make things easier for me and I could do the hedge myself without constantly asking my son to travel to do them. For a male who’s reasonably fit but not so tall this would be ideal.

It cuts well, you can reach high hedges and the battery lasts a long time, but it is a bit difficult to manoeuvre as it’s quite heavy for me to use.

This is good value for money and and has a really great reach on it. It is very easy and quick to assemble and has been invaluable for hedge cutting. It is unlike most petrol models blade heavy but with the shoulder strap this is straightforward to compensate for. A tip is let the blade glide through the hedge material and do not use it on anything bigger than 1.5 cm as it will jam. All in all a very satisfied customer.

When I got this, I was a little wary, it seemed quite heavy, however, when I finally got to use it last weekend, it was much more manageable than I had expected. IT has a good reach and is easy to set up.
The battery I have lasted longer than I had expected too, so all round good tool.
The upside to that original weight perception is that it is pretty well built.

This hedge trimmer was purchased for our community garden as we have a lot of high hedges and shrubs that need keeping in check. The hedge cutter was easy to assemble and feels very solid and sturdy. You can tell that is is quality engineering. However, that quality comes with excess weight. On lower to the ground settings it is easy enough to balance. However, at height, especially on full extension, it is extremely top heavy and difficult to hold onto.
Like other users, I balanced the trigger handle on my thigh to take some of the weight but my arms and shoulders really ached afterwards and still do the following morning. In my opinion, there needs to be some sort of harness for this tool, not a single shoulder strap, which is not very practical if you’re a larger chap, like me because the weight / balance ratio is very biased to the cutter head.
The cutter itself is excellent. It is smooth, sharp and quiet and the tilting head makes it really practical in those harder to reach areas. Battery life was amazing. Using 3.0Ah batteries, on their very first charge, I got 40 minutes of almost continual use from the first battery and never used the second one (arms were aching too much). Therefore around 80 minutes from two batteries would easily cover our entire cutting requirements for this tool.

It’s well engineered and assembled; there’s plenty of adjustment to angle and reach; a 4A/Hr battery lasts ages before needing a recharge. The head cuts perfectly and cleanly.
The downside is that it’s a little heavy if used for an extended period, however there is a shoulder strap provided which helps enormously.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Ich kann Einhell nur empfehlen, das beste System ever, die Akkus passen an alle Geräte! Ich habe mittlerweile viele Geräte von Einhell, diese Heckenschere ist wie erwartet sehr gut! Habe zwei Tage einige Stunden pro Tag damit gearbeitet und bin sehr zufrieden!
