Does the job both strimmer and chainsaw work well trimming high level branches. Heavy bit of kit but to be expected with the hight it can reach. Easy to swap heads

Get the main gripe out of the way:- I looked at several similar products and finally settled on this one. However, what I didn’t realise was that this on one it was not possible to create “hand tools” by connecting the battery/motor directly to the cutting heads. You have to have the pole connected and collapsed to its minimum of about 1m. This can be difficult when there are space restrictions between the hedge. and building/ fencing, especially as the angle of rotation of the heads and motor is in the plane of the shaft only, you can’t rotate them “sidewards” to effectively create a shorter, more manageable tool. Similarly the handle can only be mounted in the same “plane”, not rotated to 90deg to make it more useable held to the side and swung up and down. It really is designed for trimming high areas, ideally those above you with the pole vertical and swung side to side. However this is my mistake from looking at too many products and confusing the capabilities of the different ones. Overall the hedge trimmer works on leylandii branches up to about 5mm easily. Above 5mm it does have a habit of jamming,. The trimmer is quite heavy to use because of having to carry and swing the weight of the full collapsed telescopic pole all the time. The cutting heads are easy to interchange and overall it is probably a very good tool for trimming high growth.

Combineerbare haagschaar met kettingzaag op stok. Aan de kop bovenaan is het scharnierend gedeelte van plastiek en op dit gedeelte blijft een speling zitten dat je vooraan de kop van snijgereedschap een speling hebt van 10 tot 15 cm. Met dit gebrek kan je onmogelijk uw haag perfect recht snoeien. Voor kettingzaag is dit zelfs geen veilige situatie. De machine na uitpakken onmiddellijk terug gestuurd. Bij amazone hebben ze onmiddellijk de retourzending aanvaard. Daarom is het leuk om bij Amazon te shoppen, als het niet voldoet aan de eisen doen ze nooit moeilijk over een retourzending.

Great quality and very good hedge cutting blade. The chainsaw attachment is quite small and leaks oil in my garage, but my biggest issue (and this is probably due to me not using it correctly) is that it is heavy. get your muscles out! Overall, very capable and does a stirling job on the hedges, so can’t complain

Bought this to tackle our high hedges we have at home. Which were a struggle with a normal hedge trimmer, though this unit will reach easily over a 2m+ hedge. The extendable pole of this unit is easily adjustable, the blades are very sharp as it just cut through small branches with not much resistance. The chain saw adapter is also very handy for the thicker branches at hight one can’t reach. Is a bit weighty for use on longer duration and if you have a bigger garden it’s worth getting a additional high capacity battery as found after 1 1/2 hrs it was drained and was far from finished with the hedge. Overall great unit worth the buy

DILEMA: USABILIDAD. Compré esta podadora multifunción de altura tras haber usado máquinas de este tipo de gasolina durante un fin de semana. Desde el principio tuve claro el dilema. Más peso, potencia, problemas y menos altura. O ligereza, altura y usabilidad. Tuve claro que, por el peso, pese a la potencia que entregaban los motores de 2T y 4T, no compraría de gasolina. Y eso que no tengo malos brazos. Pero es que, tras usar podadora y recortasetos a motor de gasolina durante dos días, acabé más harto de los problemas de arranque que del extenuador peso en sí.
POTENCIA. La potencia es otro tema. Las de gasolina ofrecen gran potencia. Pero la nueva Einhell, con un poquito de técnica, superó la prueba de cortar maderas duras, incluso secas. La ventaja, que la utilicé toda una tarde, muy intensivamente, batería 4 Ah, en dar de baja una buganvilla muy alta, de ramas muy gruesas, secas y duras, para lo que no está pensada, y pasó la prueba.
ALTURA. LIGEREZA. Podando ramas altas y jóvenes de olivo, pan comido. Lo mejor de esta máquina es la ligereza. A toda su extensión alcanza gran altura y resulta perfectamente manejable. Y el uso es muy sencillo. La batería, comprada aparte, de 4 Ah, se carga en un pis pas. Así descansa uno.
CORTES HORIZONTALES ALTOS. El motivo por el que me decidí por la Einhell GE-HC 18 Li a batería es la posibilidad de girar el cabezal motosierra para poder hacer cortes altos horizontales. Si bien los recortasetos lo hacen todos, ninguna de las podadoras de altura tienen esa importante capacidad, al menos, para mi.
El sistema POWER X CHANGE de baterías intercambiables para multitud de herramientas no influyó. Para mi, las claves eran otras: altura, para evitar jugármela haciendo equilibrios sobre escaleras verticales, ligereza y manejabilidad. En esos aspectos concretos, esta máquina soluciona muy satisfactoriamente mis necesidades. Y la potencia que entrega, para mis necesidades, es suficiente. El día que le acoplen motores alimentados con dos baterías, como alguna motosierra de la marca, probablemente será invencible.
Ojo, por cierto, a las gibadas de novato. Hay que cerciorarse de la dirección de posicionamiento de la cadena. La “espada” de la motosierra muestra la posición correcta. Que no os pase como a mí. Que la desmonté para limpiarla y, al volverla a montar, la puse al revés. Aquello no cortaba absolutamente nada. Tardé semanas en darme cuenta del error. ; (((.

Slightly on heavy side but does a fantastic job and saves messing with wires and ladders. Battery seems to last a long time as you would not be using battery for chain saw constantly so longevity is great and quite surprised actually. Simple set up but does require maintenance of course so chainsaw oil for example. Ensure you get safety glasses and hard hat as this extends so anything wood falling from a height doesn’t take you out.

The whole thing is easy to assemble not that there is much . Both the trim.er and chainsaw are very sharp and do the job. Really great value for money, it doesn’t eat battery life which I was happily surprised about. It is as others say a tad heavy but if you take the time to adjust the strap for balance it’s not that bad . I am a wheelchair user & found I could use it , better than some much more expensive brands
