If you have a pair of trainers that can split crowds then you’d seriously need to consider giving them a good wash. However just having them clattering around in the washing machine is not ideal trust me! These are a much better idea it keeps the trainer securing side whilst letting it slightly move around to get the nodules exfoliating the top of your footwear. I like the fact that you have a separate little compartment to hold the laces to stop them getting all tangled up and also a little area to keep your insoles. Overall a brilliant idea for not a lot of money and they seem to do the job as good as can be expected without damaging your shoes or your washing machine. Hope this helps…

I only discovered this type of shoe washing bag recently – it’s one of those things that you wish you’d bought years ago! I can now wash trainers, slippers and some of my summer shoes, without worrying about them – or the machine – getting damaged. It’s also so much more relaxing not to have to listen to your shoes banging about in the washing machine!
These bags are made from the same fluffy microfibre material as my other ones, and are a good size to fit in any of my footwear, even chunky trainers. They zip securely inside the bag, so there’s no chance of them slipping out during the wash, and the head of the zip is protected by an elastic band. The loops are handy for hanging the bags to dry on the washing line, and when dry, I keep mine hanging on hooks on the back of my kitchen door. All in all, a good investment at the current price of £13.49 for the pair.

These shoe bags are ideal if like us you have kids that get their trainers caked in crud!
We wash our daughter’s school sports trainers, and her “playing out” trainers at least once a month in the wet weather, as they seem to be mud magnets. I personally hate the sound of them being washed as it sounds like they are getting a beating, and surely not good for the machine either!
These bags hold the shoes well, aside from a few zip malfunctions where the zipper came totally undone. The fact you can store also the insoles in a protective pocket is a great idea – we usually take them out to avoid damage.
The quality of the bags is great, and functionally they do the job well – protecting the shoes and machine.
Not a bad price, and we can very much vouch that they work.

Zips dont stay closed even if you put the zip under the holder, trainers came out of bag every time I used them.

As mentioned elsewhere, the zipper of one bag opened up, despite securing with the clip, allowing the training shoe out to tumble about in the washing machine. Luckily I had the forethought to include a washing load of old clothes to ‘cushion’ the tumbling of the trainers and they appear undamaged so far. Next time I’ll secure the zips with a sturdy safety pin, too… caveat emptor.

Interesting bags that help protect your shoes when you need to wash them. I’d normally just chuck them in a pillow case, but these do a much better job. They’re nicely padded so should protect the shoes and the machine drum much better. They seem well made and will hopefully hold up
