The iPad stand is brilliant! It holds the iPad really securely, would cope with a range of sizes, has padding to keep it secure in place. I have mainly used it for video calls and it’s perfect for that. You can tilt the iPad forwards and it’s still securely held, giving you flexibility and peace of mind.
For the price it’s excellent. It’s not the highest quality item I’ve ever bought however it does exactly what you need and so far after a few months of use it’s holding strong! Also comes with a phone tripod holder which is also great! No need to spend more money on a iPad holder!

This item definitely does not spark joy, and it’s not dirt cheap either. It had trouble hanging on to an iPad Pro (the standard old size, not the giant one) in a thickish case, but with a thinner case it’s fine. It’s a reasonable choice if you need to put a tablet on a full-height tripod, which to be fair is the kind of application suggested in the blurb. I bought it to use on a table top with a mini tripod, and for that kind of use I think there are better options.
The phone holder and the Bluetooth remote shutter release are both useful, assuming you need them.

This does the job we wanted, attach my iPad to a tripod for video recording. The height is adjustable with a turn-to-lock catch, it’s not a really tight grip so I wouldn’t risk holding it at an angle above a hard surface. Have to take the iPad out of the case but that would need a deeper holder than designed for tablets themselves so that’s reasonable. It comes with a separate phone to tripod attacjemnt to, this has a stronger “elastic” grip to hold the phone. It has attached sockets for either horizontal or vertical (as long as your tripod can swivel 90 degrees). Not tested how strong the vertical grip isin actual use yet, would be confident horizontally.

Holds my iPad Pro 9.7 firmly on a camera tripod for filming in landscape format. Not mentioned in the description (although it appears in one of the photos) is that there is a smartphone clamp included as well. I’m not sure if this would work for the X-sized phones, but it works well for an iphone 5 or 7. And the bluetooth button to take photos, or start/stop video recording also worked well. Overall, exceeded my expectations.
Addition having had it for a while: It doesn’t work well for holding the iPad in portrait mode – you can’t clamp it tight enough to stop it sliding out. I improvised with a large rubber band, but still if you want to use in portrait mode it is not ideal.

Since lockdown began me and my family began to FaceTime my nan everyday due to us not being able to visit her as we once did. However, talking to her for over an hour each night whilst holding a 10 inch tablet, became quite tiresome and not all of us were on the screen at the same time. ENTER the tripod mount. Since getting this handy little gadget I am left wondering why we didn’t get one sooner. It fits perfectly on my tripod and my iPad Air 3 fits snug into the mount. The padded back and corners protect the device from scratches and keep it securely in place. Me and my family are now also on the screen together at the same time, and my nan can see us all together on a daily basis. I am so glad I chose this item. The addition of the phone mount and the brilliant little selfie photograph button which works via bluetooth makes this item a must have. At such a great price it comes highly recommended by me.

Great adaptor for an iPad, Just what i needed.
I used this mount to hold an iPad at a wedding photo booth. The iPad was tethered via WiFi to the camera so after guests snapped a picture, they would walk over to the iPad which was mounted using the adapter on a tripod at convenient height to view their pictures. The grip is rock solid and locks to size with a simple twist of a well designed lever. The rubber pads behind the iPad and in the grips themselves keep the device from moving even while being poked and pushed by wedding guests. I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking to hold a tablet device with any standard tripod.

Cumple su función. El mando es realmente práctico y se conecta en 1 segundo. Me gustaria que el iPad se pueda colocar en vertical también pero creo que ningún soporte da la posibilidad de colocarlo en ambas posiciones. En cambio el soporte para móvil si permite colocarlo en ambas posiciones. El iPad da sensación de estar bien sujeto.

El articulo no está mal, pero por favor, retiren a foto que simula una sujección vertical del iPad. Es la única razón por la que lo compré y me siento engañado, porque no es posible esa posición. Para mi, una compra completamente inutil.

Originally got this for filming with my Samsung Tab3. Fitting in the clamp is fine for portrait, but does not close sufficiently for landscape, although would not fall out if angled carefully. Perhaps helpful in a way, as it cannot accidentally compress the volume or on/off buttons! However the main problem with this particular item is the 1/4″ thread has not been properly machined through, so does not fit my tripod (of several decades usage) unless forced, which I obviously do not want to do. So torn between sending everything back and trying to re-engineer the thread. On the plus side the phone clamp works a treat with my iPhone 6s (and is a great fit to the tripod), so will be using that for my next project. Finally the remote shutter is a little gem, works great with the Tab3 and the iPhone, both stills and videos.

I bought this mount for my iPad Air to hold it in place in order to make a short stop-motion video (my first). It is a simple clamp device that fits onto the iPad and then screws onto a standard camera tripod. It still fits over my iPad with its case on – which was a concern. It is sturdy plastic construction and holds the iPad securely and seems perfectly adequate for continued use. It came with a simple remote control which operates the iPad camera via bluetooth. It also came with a separate smaller clamp for an iPhone. The stop-motion video was a success so I am very happy with my purchase.
