For the price, this is a really good lawnmower!

Prior to that and because we have a small garden here, we had tried a Bosch AHM 38 G Manual Garden Lawn Mower, which was only a couple of pounds cheaper. Boy did that misfire! The Bosch manual mower was just painful to use and would randomly clog or tear up entire pieces off of our lawn every couple of meters. We returned it after the first try and decided we should try to do things properly and get an electric lawnmower, especially as there was not much of a price difference.

We eventually chose that Flymo Easimo mower and couldn’t be happier!
    – adjusting the cutting height is really easy and requires no tool whatsoever.
    – the product is quite safe and you have to press 2 buttons to get it on.
    – the blade cuts relatively close to the edge.
    – great cut quality even on a slightly damp / humid lawn (we just tried today).
    – the mower feels light and is easy to push up and down your garden. Our garden has a bit of a slope in some area and the mower goes everywhere without any issue.
    – emptying the grassbox is also quite easy. The grassbox is not huge but it will compact grasses there and therefore for the volume, the grassbox can accommodate quite a lot of grasses.
    – the noise level generated by the mower is more than acceptable and it’s not one of those mowers you feel you have to wear earplugs to use.

    On the downside:
    – the cable is a bit short. Our garden is small and we have to use an extension to be able to go all the way to the end.
    – not sure if that’s how it’s meant to be but I find the bolts used to attached the handle somewhat flimsy and you can’t really tighten them, or at least not as much as I wish I could.
    – the lawnmower is somewhat imbalanced. With a full grassbox (and the grassbox gets full quickly), the lawnmower tilts backwards under its own weight.

Overall a great product and very happy with it.

    hes the boss!

I chose this lawnmower initially because I always thought that Flymo was a good trusted manufacturer. As I had owned Flymo items in the 1980s, which lasted years. ( My Flymo strimmer is still going strong 40 yrs on) I was initially attracted to this one because it had a roller and my mission was to get stripes on my lawn.
When I unboxed I was surprised how flimsy it was. But nevertheless I proceeded with assembly which was very easy. Apart from the handle of the grass collection box which almost snapped as I tried to slot the handle in. this was very plasticy.
Eventually all plugged in and off I go. I checked the height of the wheels underneath (highest setting) noticed that the rear roller was plastic. Grass was pretty long (4 inches) but it coped ok. Edge to edge of grass was cut tight and neat, and mower completed the cutting great, and even. I then decided that the stripes were not that noticeable. The grass wasn’t pushed forward by the roller all that was visible was the tracks from the wheels. So I put the mower upside down and lowered the setting to medium. What a dangerous nightmare that was. Obviously after unplugging I had to yank the wheels to move them into a lower slot. How dangerous it was almost jamming my fingers in the axel as the springs are so tight. Now Medium height (3 height modes on this model) off I go again. Still no stripes. Fed up, Wound cable into floppy cable hooks,. Put mower away. One week later started again. This time on lowest cutting mode. This mode I found it too short to create stripes. But annoyingly, the mower cut out twice. I checked everything…plugs. Connection. Dead. When I turned upside down I also noticed the paint on blade was peeling off. So that was my cue to return it.

    However I give It 4 stars because…
    It’s light
    It’s easy to assemble
It’s nippy round the lawn and not an effort at all to push though any length of grass. The cable is not long but hey that’s a good thing because there’s no continual winding on the hooks. (Why can’t someone invent a cable that springs back like some vaccum cleaners?) Lolol

I have bought 300R again hoping this time it won’t go dead on me!

    Happy mowing everyone 🙂

Was very easy to assemble, no tools required. It is so light you can pick it up with one hand and go for a little walk to the end of your garden.
Good for small to medium gardens. Gets pretty close to the fence, though you will still need a strimmer.
Very easy to manoeuvre around the garden, had no problems going up and down the garden with it.
The wheels have adjustable height, so depending on how short or long you want your grass, just turn the mower blade up (unplug from mains first) and pull then push each wheel to where you want it. Please make sure all wheels are on the same height else you will have a wobbly lawn mower. (Mistake I made) . End result a very tidy cut lawn.

The grass box seems very flimsy it takes a steady hand to line each half up and snap together, would not advice a heavy hand. But once you have connected the two halves, it fits very easy to the back of the mower, just lift the flap at the back, clip the grass box on and let the flap rest on the box. And you are good to go

Lawn mower was very easy to clean after, i used a small hand brush to get behind the blade and in the little gaps and clean off the wheels. .
As I don’t have a shed at the moment I store the mower in the box it arrived in. Just folded down the handles and put back in the box with the grass box on top.
    Happy gardening.
