I was excited to try out this juicer, as it is my first time getting and using one, expecting to be able to toss in whole fruits and enjoy fresh juice without much prep, based on what was shown in the product images. Unfortunately, the manual told a very different story. While I can understand the need to remove tough cores and poisonous seeds from apples and pineapples, having to peel oranges and remove seeds was frustrating, especially when trying to juice a whole bag at once. Since fresh orange juice was the main reason I purchased this juicer, this extra step made the process feel unnecessarily tedious. Unfortunately I can’t find any seedless oranges anywhere near where I live so I have no choice but to get normal oranges
The design itself is solid, with a wide feed chute and a large hopper that helps speed up juicing for certain fruits and vegetables. The slow masticating process preserves nutrients well, which is great for those focused on health benefits. The cleaning process is fairly simple with just a few removable parts, making maintenance easy. However, the actual usability falls short of what I initially expected, and it doesn’t quite match the convenience shown in the promotional materials
Overall, while this juicer performs well in terms of extracting juice efficiently and maintaining freshness, the additional prep work makes it less appealing for casual users who want a quick and seamless experience. If the design allowed for true whole-fruit juicing without requiring excessive prep, it would be a much more convenient option. As it stands, it’s functional but not quite as effortless as I had hoped

I use a centrifugal juicer, so I was keen to try a slow masticating juicer. Mainly because slow juicers are quieter, easier to clean, and usually slightly smaller. This one is vertical, so wonderful storage, but expensive. Slow juicers are meant to give better juice yield, no splitting of juice, and due to not using heat some argue the slow juicers leave more nutrients intact. These points made me eager to test my new juicer out.
Firstly, I was happy with the build quality. Everything slotted together simply but securely. It looks great. The large hopper is wonderful. It can be loaded up with chopped fruit or veg. Upon first usage, I was surprised how quiet it was. Clearly it is not silent. Compared to a blender, or centrifugal juicer, you can easily hold a conversation without raising voices. It went through apples, carrots and beetroot easily. If it had got stuck, it does have a reverse. The machine slowly went about it business (It does take longer than my old juicer), and it does seem to yield more juice from the ingredients. I was left with more juice to drink, after using my standard ingredients I normally do.
The quality of the juice does show. My old machine doesn’t produce poor quality juice, but this is much smoother in the mouth. No grain, texture, or bits. Its flavour feels brighter, more going on, and not slightly warm. It also doesn’t split when left to sit. So juice can be stored in the fridge for later. I was impressed. The pulp was dry and ejected like little bricks into the waste jug. This can be composted easily.
I wasn’t expecting cleaning to be so simple. A small brush is included. But really you only have the main jug, the auger, and the two smaller jugs to clean. They don’t take much more than running under a tap to get clean. This is a bonus for me. My old juicer, cleaning bits from the grater like centrifugal cone, was a pain.
Even with slow juicers being more expensive, £300 feels a bit steep. The available voucher brings it down to a more reasonable £200. I feel this is a great price for an excellent juicer.

This is the best juicer I’ve ever had. I had a handful of awful ones over the years and one I thought was alright until i tried this brand. I tried one of their cheaper ones before and that was good too but this is fantastic. It works so well, gets loads of juice out of everything and doesn’t seem to ever clog up. The spiral cone in the middle slowly forces all the pulp through a flap in the back and the juice flows pretty quickly out the side. It is very easy to disassemble and clean. The only bit that takes any effort is the strainer, and that’s tiny and not even difficult to clean.
The jug fits loads in and it doesn’t struggle with anything or make loads of noise. obviously it’s not quiet as it is a juicer, but it’s not horribly loud like lots are.
It looks nice and smart as well and has a fairly small footprint, not taking up loads of space.

This just arrived a while ago. It is already showing signs of overheating after four apples and two peeled oranges. The juice that came out was sludge.
This is going back on Monday.
