These cushion supports have made a noticeable difference to both my sofa and armchair. They’re firm but comfortable and have done a great job of lifting and stabilising sagging seats without making things feel too rigid. The curved design really does help the shape of the furniture, and it’s a far more cost-effective solution than replacing cushions or the whole sofa.
They’re incredibly easy to fit—just pop them underneath the seat cushions and you’re good to go. They arrived vacuum-packed but expanded quickly to full size. The black foam is unobtrusive and blends in well with the existing upholstery. No fiddling or trimming needed, which I really appreciated.
My only wish is that they offered a longer version to cover the full length of a standard sofa in one piece. For now, two of these side by side work fine, but a single extended version would be perfect. That said, for the price and convenience, I’m really happy with the purchase. Highly recommended if your seating needs a bit of a boost.

These Sofa Cushion Supports do a great job of fixing sagging Sofa Cushions.
They’re made of very dense Foam which can be a little tricky to cut.
Once in place they work very well, you feel like you’re sitting on a new Sofa.
Of course not every Sofa has Seats that lift up to allow you to slide in a support Cushion, on some Chairs the Seat Cushions are an integral part of the stucture so you can’t add any extra support.
However if you can fit these Support Cushions they are worth the money and put new life into that old Sofa.

This is a review of the GIONAR brand 2PCS 55 x 55cm Sofa Cushion Support. Which was priced at £29.99 at the time of posting this review. The cushions are supplied vacuum packed in a sealed bag and they immediately return to full size when the seal is broken.
I ordered these cushions as I’ve suspected for a while now that my old sofa isn’t as supportive as it used to be.
I tested by putting one of these under one sofa cushion only and then sat on both sofa cushions to see the difference. I was amaze at just how good these supports are. Although they are made from soft sponge they have returned the seat support of my sofa back to as new condition.
Overall, these cushions give good support to an aging sofa.

I have a large two cushion sofa so ideally would have liked a bigger size if such a thing was available.

I had previously had board-type supports in my very old sofa, but these were useless and snapped within a short while. I have fitted these instead, and so far they are good, with more support in the centre of each cushion due to them being curved in profile. Hopefully the backache will stay away until I can get a new sofa. They don’t fill the whole sofa; it would better if there were size options available.

Quite a substantial pair of foam slabs here. They however are not as resistant as I was expecting but certainly will do the job I wanted them for.
For years it has seemed that upholstery foam is an expensive commodity. This is no different for what it actually is however it seems to be the going rate and therefore not uniquely unreasonable.
One final note, there is no obvious fire safety label on these, whethert here should be I am unsure.
