first up, this is huge, its also quite heavy. that aside it works, and works well. not too hard to change blades, so far only tried blending stuff for a soup which it did perfectly.
stand would be better if you could wall mount, bit it looks pretty good horizontally behind the working area, ready to use

This blender comes with a multitude of interchangeable blades for different purposes, which are all handily stored in the blender stand. The biggest problem with this item is, it takes up quite a lot of space on the side in the kitchen. If you use a blender or any of the attachments regularly this would not be problematic. It is easy to use and versatile. Cleaning is easy too as all blades are dishwasher safe. It is powerful and easy to change the speed. It has a nice long flex so doesn’t have to be stored right next to the plug and is also long enough to reach into jugs, pans, etc. good value for money as it has so many uses.

The GF12012 Good Food 5-in-1 Digital Hand Blender with Stand is a total game-changer in the kitchen! First of all this looks and feels very much like most other hand blenders in terms of size and weight. Visually the blades do look markedly smaller than our previous 2 hand blenders, not sure how that will affect it in use though. More importantly the shaft itself doesn’t appear to be removeable in the same way as every other blender I’ve used is. Only the blade can be changed. This means that to clean the ‘business end’ of this you need to be very careful not to get the motor wet. Normally you’d remove the shaft allowing easy cleaning.
This comes with 5 blades for different purposes, not sure how much different they are in all honesty due to the small size of the blades. The blade change is quite a poor and frustrating design though. You have to use the included tool to get ‘under’ the blade and lever it off the end of the shaft. Fitting a new one requires it to be pushed onto the shaft with a fair amount of force as it is basically an interference fit with a sort of split collet to stop it sliding off.
This is a shame as the motor feels really powerful and I really like the continuously variable nature of the push button control – the harder you press the faster it goes.
The stand didn’t really make it into the kitchen, it is plasticky and doesn’t really serve a purpose other than to take up more counter space. The blades are now in a small box and the blender in a drawer.
All in all good potential but some poor design choices.

I ordered this blender after my previous one stopped working and this is such a great upgrade. This blender comes with a convenient stand and five different stainless steel blades. It is very powerful and you can change the speed depending on your needs. The quality is outstanding and I like it a lot that the stand also has a space to store all blades. The design is modern and matches my other silver appliences. I am extremely happy with this blender and would order it again.

This blender does the trick, all the accessories are effective in doing what they do and it is powerful running at 1.5kW. At the top it has a gauge to tell you how hard the motor is working. This is good. It means you shouldn’t overtax the motor. However, while it looks stylish and is very solidly built, this hand blender is very large for a household product measuring about 35cm long with a very long curly power cord attached. It does come with a stand and case for accessories but once you’ve set this up, you do have a bulky piece of kitchenware to store. We’d prefer a smaller appliance that does the same thing.

This product comes in a cardboard box, and inside the box, you’ll find the hand-held blender, a display/holder, a beaker, five blades, a blade removal tool and an instruction book. As of reviewing, this product is priced at £59.00 – good value.
The display holder for the blender looks nice but does take up quite a bit of room. I like that you can change the blade to one of 5 different types. Depending on how hard you present the power button, it adjusts the amount of power. The harder you press the button, the more powerful it is. The display with the dial looks very cool when it is lit up.
The cable is quite long, which is handy if your power sockets are not close to where you are working.
I recommend this product.

This set is quite bulky for a small blender. It’s bigger than my cordless one which seems almost as powerful.
Has a nice array of blades that do the job and it’s easy to increase the speed just by pressing the button harder, in fairly gentle steps.
Easy to clean and does a good job though, at a reasonable price.
