Full of issues. Poor replacement for the previous Sense. Tracking walks works very poorly. Map not tracked and distance inaccurate. I believe the previous model had a better GPS. Google Fitbit support pretty helpless to do anything.

    Couldn’t be without it
Had one for 6 years love it

It would have been nice if it could also share HRM like the charge 6, otherwise it provides me all the functions i need with a 1x per week charge that was the deciding factor for me vs pixel watch. It would be great if the make a sense 3, however i suspect this is the end of the line for sense products which is a pity.

Fitbit has improved quite alot and I am impressed with the features of the watch, There is some delay sometimes in transfering the data between the phone and the watch which happened few times with Whatsapp and email notifications.
The activity tracker is really good and can predict to a good level what you are doing, probably you need to trigger it sometimes but then it will learn and notify you to activities automatically
I like the simple sleek design
Heart rate sometimes requires a bit of tight fit but never found it to be annoying, It works nice for me, I have a bit of hairy hands still it works nicely
I am struggling to find some functions as the interface is not as user friendly as smart watches. I appreciate it is a tracker and not a smart watch but if that feature can be improved then I am definite that lots of people will buy this tracker
I would like it to have some connectivity to machines similary to charge 6 as this will help alot in exercise monitoring
I had a Fitbit Charge 3 before, moved to Samsung watch then now back again to Fitbit,
I still miss the smart watch simplicity and ease of use and finding apps in comparison to this tracker
all in all I will give it 4/5. I still like it alot but I think Fitbit can still improve it a bit

I intend just a brief review as I am new to the type of digital media that I am reviewing.
My requirement was for a heart monitor app that comes with a Fitbit sense 2.
To begin with I must point out that I have never owned a smart phone or smart devices. The product on the Fitbit site did not seem to specify the requirement of a smart phone.
The Amazon product info for the item was low down and in small print where it was stated that you will require a smart phone but I missed it . The phone was £219.00 and a few days later became 179.00.
I realised that the Fitbit would not work at all without a smart phone. Kayz who sold the item answered my question by stating all smart watches require a smart phone – thanks.

This caused the purchase of a 1200.00 smart phone. As a complete newbie to using a smart phone I must therefore state that the Fitbit app on an apple phone was very user friendly and I figured it out a (fit) bit at a time.

I am well into 1400.00 at this point and find upon trying to install the AF app (heart app) that if I have had health problems then I must cancel the app install and not use it. Thanks. Where was that in the info.

To cut a long story short – the Fitbit works great and works really great with my iphone BUT I still had to buy a Kardia device (something else that needs a phone but at least they tell you) in order to get what I originally wanted.

£1550.00 later and I am all set. Now the fitbit can apparently warn me of possible heath situations that I am interested in via notifications which is great but if I really needed this kit and was short of money then I am not sure of how good that would make me feel.

Were in a new age now where a £1200 phone and a £200.00 watch DON’T come with instructions. One relies on big socialism to save the corporations from tedious time wasting on silly things like instructions.

I knew how to configure wireless networks the hard way in 2002 so it came as no surprise to get the phone hooked into the internet and get the 2 devices `paired` up and the smart watch downloading so it could work but how is a pensioner expected to setup a smartphone and email to setup a smart watch. Ok if they have a smart phone already then modern software is very clever at prompting the user but this equipment should come with a health warning. I have blue tooth savy wifi mates that haven’t got on with this device but I have to say I like it , I can and have spoken to this ALEXIA on the watch and find the watch strap (odd as it is) to be secure and comfortable. Once you have downloaded loaded the info to make the watch work you will be able to use some of its benefits independently.

The watch seems to have no hard off ability and I am unsure of the battery life that when it ends will render it useless no doubt.

I cannot understand how so much technology is packed into such a tiny device.
The Sense 2 is astonishing. The number of sensors it contains is simply amazing. I’ve been on a diet for the past few months and use the fitbit daily, not just to monitor steps, but to see how my general health improves. This includes sleep quality, readiness, resting heart rate, breathing rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, ECG, and more. The data it produces is simply incredible. Personally I think it’s really good valuable money, and as essential part of my daily routine. It’s very easy to use, and definitely has far fewer Bluetooth sync issues than Fitbits I’ve owned in the past.
I find myself charging the Sense 2 every 4 to 5 days. The battery life is incredible considering some sensors are running 24/7.
I had to return the first Sense 2 that I bought as the touch screen was very unresponsive. However amazon were very quick in sending out a replacement and I have had no issues with this one.
