Nice little vacuum with good power but a couple drawbacks
Due to the shape (arch at the top) I can’t vacuum certain things without the power button being pressed. There is an extender which helps, but if it was straighter, I could use the brush roller in those spots. And, the battery is decent enough but I can’t get v through all of my furniture across the apartment on a single charge unfortunately

Who would have thought when I first opened my Amazon account – I’d be writing reviews about hoovers!! This is now my 3rd hoover review!! 🤣🤣🤣😱😱😱

I’ve got a robovac that does the vast majority of my house, but there are always bits where that can’t reach (stairs are the obvious point, as well as all the small crevices in the skirting board and nooks and crannies – as well as the car).

I was initially put onto this hoover by my Nan who had one and raved about it – whilst I raved about my robo hoover (sad lives we live I know!). After I lent her my robo hoover she was convinced and I bought her one, and after she lent me this Gtech I was also convinced and bought one!!

This is not a replacement for a full sized hoover – I’d say this is complimentary. It does all the little things you don’t want to get a big hoover out for – or in my case the things a robo hoover can’t do.

This is great for the stairs with the powered attachment, I mean absolutely fantastic! We have two sets of stairs in my house (3 floors) and this managed both sets with the powered attachment and also with the crevice tool to really get into the nooks – with battery to spare to clean our mid sized SUV – which it got 3/4” of the way round before the battery ran out.

The battery lasts for roughly 20 minutes (on a four hour charge), which may seem not a lot of time for the amount it took to charge, but as I said, you won’t be hoovering the entire house with this – you’ll be doing the odd bit of hoovering here and there, and using it for the stairs and the like.

You need to be careful where you pull when you change attachments, as in the instruction manual it tells you to hold by the handle and pull the entire suction head off – I’m not the strongest guy, but I managed to pull so hard it pulled the led light section and electric powered section clean off – pulling out the wires in the process. 😱😱😱

Luckily I’m quite handy and was able to take 3 screws out (2 under the dust cartridge) and one underneath the power button (this now has a small crack in it as I had to prise it out). But I was able to reattach the wires and it’s working perfectly fine again!

Luckily if I couldn’t fix it – a replacement body (basically everything except the powered head, tools, dust cartridge & battery) runs quite cheaply and is only roughly £40 to replace.

There is no ‘charging base’ just a cable you plug into the battery (which can be charged whilst in the hoover or separately on its own). This is a plus point or a negative depending on how you look at it – I quite like the fact there is no base and you can charge it easily without having to find another space for something to be out permanently.

As the battery is removable – if you want to extend the life of your hoover between the 4 hour charge, you can obviously buy a second (or third) battery that is all ready charged waiting for use, whilst you charge the original one.

This comes with a decent number of attachments, but if you have a 3D printer (or know someone who has one) there are a multitude of extra nozzles that can be made for even more specific uses.

One slightly bad point, the included cartridge filters are a bit weird smelling.

Also – included in the box is a 50% voucher for the car kit, so worth waiting to get this and then get the car kit at a later date – saving some money!

Even with the slight issue whereby my superior strength broke mine (easy-ish fix though – or cheapish replacement part) and the weird smell – I would definitely recommend this cordless battery powered hoover as a companion to either a regular plug in hoover or a robovac!!

This handheld vacuum cleaner is amazing. It is very powerful and holds a charge for 30 minutes. It has a power brush head which does a great job on upholstery and carpeted items. Over the years I have owned a number of handheld vacuums ant this is by far the best one. It is well designed and looks and feels like it is made to last. The cost of this ptoduct is also very reasonable. I love it.

It comes with a set of easily switched tools to help you get into nooks and corners and a dustbusting tool specially for fragile things. Also has the best, clearest little instruction book I have seen in years and years. It is making day to day cleaning much easier and another bonus is that it picks up pet hair much more effectively than my full size hoover.

Excellent product ao happy with it, been meaning to get one for ages and thought what the hell, great to clean my can without dragging main hoover out and fantastic for stairs again saves dragging the hoover about, so pleased with it and easy and lightweight to use, already asking the dogs to malt more, great for nooks and crannys too and corners of rooms with attachments, wish I had bought it a year ago

You’re getting a wireless hand vacuum, so keep your expectations within reason in terms of power.

For what it is, yes, it does indeed blow the competition away. It is ungodly powerful for what it is. I clean my bedroom floor with it almost daily and it gets everything. It lifts so much stuff off my carpet floor that I didn’t even think existed. Cleaning it out is a breeze. It’s very lightweight. The attachments are perfect.

Its flaw, like with any handheld wireless vacuum, is its battery life and charging capability. It runs for about 30 minutes before dying. It takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge. But what are you even buying this type of vacuum for? You’re not cleaning the entire house with it. You’re using it ideally to maintain specific spaces. You don’t need to use it for more than 30 minutes.

Trust me, the cons aren’t even really cons, just expectations with these types of vacuums. Do yourself a favor and grab one if you’re considering something like this.

Great little vacuum cleaner. Perfect for car detailing. Ideal also for stairs and other awkward places.

I have to say there are some thing that you buy on here, and you are disappointed with the quality… and others that you think – “why didn’t I buy this sooner”. This is definitely the latter. I have had it about a month, and loving it. It looks modern, works like a dream, and is easy to use. It is almost better than my main vacuum cleaner, but I use it mainly to clean the bed after our dog has been dropping hirs there, and the insider of the car. It charges quickly, and the attachments are just what you need. My wife doesn’t like the lavender smell, but I do… so there you go! A top buy

It is only the first day – but I am so pleased with this hand-held cleaner.

I previously bought cheap (Chinese?) versions – which were fairly good but eventually lost their charge and had to be thrown away. Then I bought the Shark one – the very attractive stick version. It looked great but didn’t work very well – so I returned it.

This one isn’t very pretty (a woman’s opinion) – but that doesn’t matter because it works really well and has very good suction. Excellent for the stairs (with a bright light) and the crevice tool is really good. I am elderly, and need two hip and knee replacements – so my stairs have always been a problem. Not now though. Some say it is heavy – but I certainly don’t think so – and I have arthritis in my hands.

Be careful at first removing the battery / filter etc. as it may be a little stiff. Wriggle things a bit (as they suggest) and they all work fine. It does say you need to remove the battery before changing the attachments (a bit of a faff when you are on the stairs) but you DON’T. I phoned their helpline and the lady (who also owns one) says there is no need to do this.

This machine has been well thought out – thank you Nick. Nice to have a spare filter too when you have washed one, and good that you can buy attachments, and an extra battery. Seems like British workmanship at its best. If you are careful with it (it is plastic after all) and keep it clean and unclogged – it should last a fair while – and it does have a 2-year warranty. It is early days for me – but I thoroughly recommend this cleaner. Should I have problems in the future – I will amend my review.

EDIT: It was said that you need not remove the battery when changing attachments – but when I spoke to another rep. and she said they recommend this when using the brush bar (on the K9) because you could accidentally turn on the machine. So a H&S issue but if you are careful it shouldn’t be a problem.

Light weight with good suction power.  It’s great for sweeping out the car.  We also use it on the steps.  There are attachments to help tackle any job around the house.
