It spoiled my electric socket two times, thankfully there was no fire incident. The problem is it needs 3000 Watt and it is nowhere written in the product description here! Another problem is the plug does not suit to Indian electric socket, you need an universal adapter (again heavy duty one)

Great kettle for the money. Looks good, ergonomically great, and so far so good. No noisier or quieter than previous kettles, but boils efficiently. Does feel a bit ‘tinny’, and make sure you push the lid on properly after filling, as a couple of times the lid has fallen off when pouring, but that’s my fault rather than a design fault.

Am sooo disappointed with the kettle… something is definitely wrong as I’ve burnt out 2 plug points in my kitchen.
I even bought a BELKIN extension board, but it’s not functional even with that. The switch goes off automatically when the kettle is switched on!

Lovely sage colour, very stylish look, really quiet and a quick boil. The on/off lever at the bottom lights up a pale blue snowflake like pattern when the kettle is turned on so it’s easy to see and the handle has a comfortable grip. We’re very happy with this purchase.

Kept coming down in the morning and finding pools of water on my worktop. Thought it may have been myself spilling it when going to bed. In the end I came down one morning to find the kettle had emptied itself through the bottom and had leaked onto a worktop joint overnight and down the kitchen door causing swelling and damage both to my worktop and door. I also have the toaster and can say that they both look fantastic but IMHO are style over substance. LUCKY I WAS NOT ELECTROCUTED AS THE BASEPLATE WAS SWAMPED!

Not bad, but unfortunately the on,/ off Switch is very flimsy and breaks off very quickly, should have been a metal switch not plastic, have super glued mine back on 3. Times
