   Let’s be honest – If you are buying this toaster, you will be buying it because it is pink and you’ll probably also be buying the matching kettle. I have to say I actually love the colour and have never seen one in pink before and it makes a change from black, white or chrome. It looks exactly the same in real life as it does on the listing, sleek and modern, and it’s from a reputable manufacturer so I have no concerns or complaints about the build quality or safety aspects.

   Apart from the aesthetics, it is a toaster and I can’t imagine anyone who has never used one before so it doesn’t need any explaining – Hamilton Beach have not re-invented the wheel here. It has everything you could possibly need from a 2-slicer and it’s suitable for anything from crumpets to bagels to thicker sliced bread. There are 7 browning levels so it’s just a case of finding the level for how toasty you want your toast to be which is a personal preference.

   I already own the Hamilton Beach kettle that accompanies this toaster, so was delighted when I received this. Given its colour, it will of course not be to everyone’s taste, but for us it’s absolutely perfect. Pink, shiny and kind of retro.

   Aside from its elegance, it also functions very well. It toasts bread quickly and evenly, and has slots big enough to accommodate those of my regular loaf, which is oddly unusual for a toaster – so many I’ve tried have slots that are very slightly too small.

   It has the usual functions – defrost, reheat and cancel, and the crumb tray is easily removable when required. Great addition to my increasingly pink kitchen.

   This is a very cute pink toaster, it is extra wide so good for muffins, bagels, crumpets and normal slices of bread would fit too.

   The quality is OK, it has all the functions you need such as cancel, defrost, reheat, removable crumb tray and it has seven different heat settings.

   I would be happy to recommend.

   if you’re picking a toaster like this then it’s pretty safe to say you’re willing to sacrifice a little function to fit the form you’re looking for and i think that’s exactly what this toaster is all about.

   it ticks all of the boxes for a simple functional toaster that you expect for this price and has an eye catching and very unique style. it’s not the most well built appliance i’ve seen but what it can do it does reasonably well toasting evenly and being large enough to tackle most toasting tasks.

   if you’re equipping your kitchen on a budget and don’t want boring black or silver then this is a perfectly fine option.

   I bought the Hamilton Beach 2 Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster thinking, “It’s a toaster. It toasts. How exciting can this get?” Oh, how wrong I was. This toaster has changed my mornings in ways I never thought possible.

   First off, the Extra Wide Slots. You want to toast a bagel? Done. A Texas-sized slice of sourdough? No problem. Leftover pancakes you’re pretending are bread? Toast away, my friend. This toaster doesn’t judge your carbohydrate choices; it welcomes them with open slots.

   Next, the Bagel Setting. I don’t know what dark sorcery Hamilton Beach conjured, but this setting makes bagels toastier on the cut side while leaving the outer crust soft and chewable. It’s like it understands bagels on a spiritual level.

   Then there’s the Toast Boost. Picture this: you’re groggily waiting for your toast, and BAM, it launches your bread high enough to land directly into your hand. No more fishing around for burnt fingertips. It’s a culinary catapult, and I’m here for it.

   The Shade Selector? A game-changer. You can go from “lightly warmed bread” to “crispy perfection” with the twist of a dial. Personally, I live on a steady diet of setting #4, but it’s nice to know there’s a #6 for when life gets wild.

   And let’s not overlook the Auto Shutoff. My past toasters were ticking time bombs, but this one is like a responsible parent that says, “You’ve had enough excitement for one morning.”

   The only downside? I now have a habit of toasting things I probably shouldn’t. Marshmallows, cold pizza, even a Pop-Tart that technically didn’t need toasting—it’s a slippery slope when you own a toaster this good.

   If this toaster were a person, it’d be the overachiever in your friend group—always showing up on time, looking sharp, and making everyone else feel inadequate. 10/10, would toast again.

   This is a good quality toaster that simply does what it should, and does it well.
   It toasts nice and evenly and toasts consistently to the level you have set, of course you have to find your desired setting but that is easily sorted after a couple of runs, and the diagram in the photos is fairly accurate.
   This just means you can rely on your toast popping up at the desired toastiness!
   The toast also pops up to a nice height when complete so is easy to remove.
   The toast is also toasted to the same stage on both sides, no more having to turn it around to balance out the toastiness.
   Finally, there is a crumb tray that is easy to remove and empty.
   A good quality toaster that works really well. Also worth noting that you can get a matching kettle.

   This certainly isn’t what you’d call a fancy toaster though it does at least have a nice appearance and has one thing I need in a toaster being wide slots, perhaps not as deep as would be useful given store bought thicker bread tends to stick out the top but there’s no issue putting other toaster-able things in here unlike most cheap toasters that exist. That aside it did what you’d want it to do and toasted my toast (and whatever else I have tried in it) evenly and at a good temperature so no issues there. Could be decently recommendable assuming you aren’t going for anything fancy and like the miami pink colouring it has.
