   So far so good, just like having a cleaner turn up… it’s a game changer, my house has never been so hoovered and clean. Fantastic little machine. Does carpets and hard floors. Took me a while to work out mapping and still finding new options on its settings…I love it, I tell everyone about it. Its quiet and efficient and the dog no longer takes any notice of it. The dust tray and filter are easy to empty. Don’t delay just get one. 👍🏻

   I got this as I’ve always wanted a robot hoover. This HG4 dry vacuum is a great little machine. Extremely good quality and strong. Does hold quite a bit of dirty and dust but not for a messy family of 4. Picked up the rice that my 7 year old kindly knocked onto the floor. Had a bit of trouble setting up the app and the house map (but that might have been more me). Love how it takes itself back to charging port (but not tried this yet) it has a long battery life. As it small it fits nicely under my shoes rack so that where it lives in it charging unit till I need it (nicely out the way). I really like it but it can’t replace my hoover totally as it doesn’t get into the smallest gaps but it amazing for a quick clean up, which fits in this house great.

   This robotic vacuum cleaner is easy to use, straight out of the box! It pairs well with the app and seems to be pretty reliable so far. When you first install it, the cleaner draws a sketch of the floors it is cleaning (which you can edit, where needed as well as setting up routines) which gave me some confidence it wasn’t going to just randomly clean some parts of rooms, or miss them out completely!

   The device appears to be solid and well made, though it doesn’t offer any mopping functions (which would be handy for my kitchen) nor does it have a docking station so it can auto empty, unlike a previous robotic vacuum I have used. With those points aside, this is pretty good value and does a decent job vacuuming carpets, lino and wooden floors. The battery life seems pretty decent too, so no complaints there!

   This is a great bit of kit for the money. I know there are more capable machines but as a budget option this delivers. I like to judge equipment by whether i would buy another if it broke, and this i definitely would.

   I ordered this with the intention of using it for a quick daily clean when I was short of time but I will admit it’s a complete game changer and I very rarely get the upright one up as it does a really good job. Apart from the cleaning, I am mesmerised watching “Mrs Doubtfire” as we call her, go about her daily business avoiding obstacles in her way. I might just be weird but she’s like our own little pet!

   So let’s get technical – she was very easy to set up. The app installed well and used alongside the quick start guide, she went out on her first expedition, mapping our floor. We don’t have animals or small children, so the carpet is generally hair/crumb free.

   Mrs Doubtfire is well built. She came with an extra replacement brush and charging dock. What I liked about the charging dock is the rubber strips on the base to add grip on the carpet when docking. Some alternatives come with stickers which are not great for carpets, plus you are then limited to where you can move the base.

   The app does a fantastic job of letting you know which areas have been cleaned, the duration and you can schedule a timer to send your bot out automatically. This works well. It will also send you notifications to your phone, if it gets into difficulty. It can also be programmed to included no go areas.

   Im happy with the standard of cleaning and apart from a weekly clean of more complex areas, I am no longer reliant on getting the big vacuum out, which is a great time saver for busy households. I can see where she has been from the tracks on the carpet and she automatically and very cleverly makes her way home back to the base when she needs a recharge. For larger homes, you can set it to resume cleaning from the area it finished if it needs more power.

   The only reason I haven’t given this 5 stars is unlike some models it appears it cannot be linked to alexa or if it can, i’m struggling to pair it and this is a personal preference but our “Gerard the Butler” rival who cleans the upstairs can be programmed to clean in perfect diagonal lines giving a perfect finish and makes my OCD very happy. These are only my comparisons and in no way affects the performance of the Hoover Robot. If you don’t need these, then it’s a fantastic tool and I highly recommend it.

   This is an outstanding piece of kit which has really impressed me. I’m a tech guy so have had my eyes on a robot cleaner for a while but always thought they were a bit of a gimmick…I saw this at a great price on an ‘Amazon Resale’ offer so thought I’d give it a go.

   I’ve been absolutely blown away with how clever and useful it is. Within half hour of opening; it was set-up, connected and already created a ‘map’ of my house to the app.

   I’ve got it set-up to clean and mop the downstairs daily once we’ve gone to bed – can’t hear a thing and it’s brilliant waking up to spotless floors!

   The app itself is quite basic and not the best one out there but it’s still perfectly useable for everything you need – you can set schedules, and map out ‘no-go zones’ which I’ve used for thick mats in the living room.

   Granted this is a very basic cleaner compared to some more expensive models; it won’t agitate the mop for tough stains, doesn’t have any fancy AI obstacle avoidance but for just keeping on top of general crumbs and dust it’s ideal.

   Also the standard and ‘hydro’ versions are supplied as bare unit with just a charging dock so they do need to emptied and cleaned out manually, unlike some that ‘self-empty’ into a bin, but that doesn’t bother me and gives a bonus of not taking up too much space.

   For the price, I think it’s absolutely worth buying – My house has never been so clean, and best of all; I’ve barely touched my old vacuum cleaner in weeks!!
