    At the moment i have a shark upright, a shark cordless and a Dyson cordless which as just conked out. I have had a few dysons over the years but they too pricey now. I looked at a couple of different cordless models and i liked the look of this model. It was a good price and had good reviews. I hate Hoover’s that have no suction power. This model is a bit bigger and a bit heavier than my dyson. It was easy to put together and easy to use. What i like about it is you don’t have to hold the switch down all the time, you just press it once, there is also turbo power on it. Also you can see at a glance how much power is left on it. You also have a light on the bottom and have the anti hair wrap facility which is good for me as i lose a lot of hair. Years ago i always had a Hoover vacuum cleaner, i think mainly because there wasn’t a lot of choice, but they were always good quality. I am very impressed with this, it’s so much better than my old Dyson. I would highly recommend it.

    I was sick of dragging a Henry Hoover around so bought this stick vacuum. Great to begin with although after a few months, suction decreased and then it kept turning off. Just needed to clean the filter!

    Most important things to me:
    1) the long extension arm must NOT have a joint. It must be an one piece construction and made of metal.
    2) The cylindrical dust bin must face North to South, not side way, and not along the extension arm
    3) must be relatively light weight (see photo attached)
    4) must NOT come with the fluffy spin brush. I need one brush that does all surfaces.
    5) all the accessories must snap into place with a satisfactory ‘click’ sound
    This HOOVER is the only one that tick the boxes as per above. It is very stylish in dark grey/ black/ hint of muted red colour combination AND has a unique spin brush that does not wrap hair or dental floss around it. (I tested it and it works for both hair and dental floss)
    A good hoover requires a combination of good suction, airflow and agitation. I avoided models that come with an uniform fluffy brush which will NOT agitate. Or a cylindrical dust bin that’s too narrow in diameter that will slow down airflow.
    This Hoover HF4 is an EXCELLENT product by design and quality. Thank you Amazon for making this available online with you usual fast delivery and satisfaction guarantee.

    I have a disability so needed something practical and lightweight, I am more than happy, its so easy to
    go around each room, i was thinking the charge would not last enough to hoover my 2 bed house, but i was surprise that it accomplished it.. I think it been a very good purchase and wish i had done it sooner.
    Charges quickly enough, quick to empty and exchange tools, so If you want a light,powerful hoover
    then i would point you in this direction.

    This really is worth the investment. Have used a couple of other brands in the past, but this one is way better. That said, it’s only used on hard floors and rugs, not on carpets. The turbo is great for rugs and soft furniture etc, but the battery doesn’t last so long. Using it mostly on regular with some turbo use allows me to hoover all 6 floors downstairs on a charge.

    The media could not be loaded.

    Had this unit a little over a year. Light use here and there nothing extreme. Filters cleaned regularly. Unit has failed completely and no longer works.

    Smart stick hoover. Very good battery power and charges quickly..
    I bought this as a used model, if was new apart from no box. This was a bargain . I am happy with my purchase.
