Highly recommended washing machine! It has large capacity, the one I purchased 14kg, so that’s double the standard washing machine capacity. It has various cycles, that save money on electricity and it’s an A rated machine. Nice looking machine, great performance, quiet, spins well which results in much quicker drying time. – Pays for itself!

Absolutely in love with my new washer! It was so easy to install, perfect size and genius quality! It’s a very quiet washer even on its fastest spin. And then there’s the hOn app. First thing I did was get the washer set up to my Wi-Fi! So easy and straight forward to do too!! Anyway, the app has soooo many different wash cycles! It took me 20mins to decide what to stick the load on lol! I honestly rate the washer. It’s fantastic value for money, especially with everything it does!

****01/12 update. REvisde to 1 star rating because of service. I have arranged to return this machine. I could not get the touch settings to work and I could not get this connected to the internet. The instruction booklet is totally unhelpful and there is nothing online that I could find to help. Most of all I could not get through to Hoover. I tried on numerous occasions to call them, but was left for well over an hour in a queue before I gave up….. I have a life. I have no idea if I was doing something wrong or if the machine is/was faulty. I decided today to hang on he phone for however long it took. 1 Hour 6 mins and 24 secs to be precise(less than previous calls). They were advised there and then that their service was not acceptable and the machine was being returned. Amazon were fabulous. They have arranged to pick the ‘faulty’ machine tomorrow and arranged an instant refund. I have purchased a new one….. not Hoover, which will be delivered on Saturday. ****
I paid for fitting, not because I couldn’t do it myself, but because I thought it would be easier. 2 guys come in fit machine take old one away. However, the drainage hose was woefully short and it could not be fitted. For some crazy reason Hoover think that every machine is right next to the outlet pipes. I had to go and buy an extension hose and fit it myself. To be fair it was not difficult.
I cannot get the wifi to work as Bluetooth will not connect. I need the washing machine nearer my router…… not going to happen. I now need to purchase a wifi booster. More expense, but without it connecting, I cannot get advantage of a fully programmable machine.
The machine itself is very compact and looks good. Its a bit noisier, on the spin cycle, than I expected, but that’s not a big issue for me. The instructions are something else and are not written in any logical fashion. There are a few things I just don’t understand but with a bit common sense I’ve worked it out and it’s fairly simple to operate. It seems to wash the clothes well enough so I have no issues with the function of the machine. I actually think that is pretty good…. so far.
So in summary if you want a fully WIFI controllable washing machine make sure your WIFI signal is top of the range, or install machine beside the router. If your machine is like mine and has a dishwasher between it and the outlet pipes, get an extension drainage hose in advance of the machine being delivered.
Lastly be prepared for Hoover to badger you to take out their £5.32 per month extra cover. I got a call within an hour of me registering my machine. However they do not return the favour by answering their phones if you have a problem…. usual you are in a queue routine…… 🙁
EDIT – My wifi works on 5ghz band. The APP to use wifi on the machine works only on 2.4 ghz band. The HON app has absolutely no support function that I can find. So, beware, check your wifi bandwidth if you want the app to work and be prepared to change it if necessary.

I’ve only had this machine just over a week so difficult to say how it will last.
My last hoover lasted only 6 years, maybe this is the norm for white appliances now.
I chose to go with Hoover again due to the size of the space I had available and this was identical in size to my previous one. There are lots of programmes, quick, time delay, eco. You name it. There is also a WiFi bit but I had problems with my last machine connecting that I’ve not bothered trying this one. It washes well and the spin’s pretty good, although I find even on the low spin cycles my clothing aways comes out very creased which is annoying. Another issue is the noise of the door locking and unlocking, it’s so loud like gunfire. I jumped out of my skin when it first happened but I am getting used to it.
