First delivery was cancelled which was a pain as we had arranged an installer. Second delivery ok. Machine was easy to plumb in and is working fine.

Payed for fitting what a waste of time said hinges didn’t match and wouldn’t fit.delivery driver said 90% intergrated machines can’t be fitted because door hinges didn match don’t waste your money on installation with them.
Gefcon1 –
595mm width a plus for fitting into 600mm wide space. Not as quiet as expected. Noisier than our old 7kg Hotpoint machine. Height adjustment for built in alignment very small – about 1 cm max using screw-in feet. Much less than previous machine. Installation guide is minimal, and contradictory regarding height adjustment mentioned above. Guide also poor in that it makes no mention to ensure lock nuts are tightened to underside of machine when “correct” height is set with screw feet. Wasted a lot of time and effort in getting this right. NB: although machine is 8kg load rated- this does not apply to 30 min wash cycle (the one we mostly use) here a 4.5kg maximum applies! Did I mention tightening lock nuts on screw feet? Unless you do this? The machine will vibrate excessively, and cause horrible screaming and knocking sounds on spin cycle. Hotpoint need to up their game – I called Hotpoint to register and was fed soft sell to take out £6/month additional warranty. The 12 month warranty is not fit for purpose – you still pay for Hotpoint call out and labour fees on defective parts. I called Hotpoint technical helpline asking for clarification on height adjustment details. Was promised callback/email response following day. Have heard nothing since. Not impressed with product and Hotpoint technical helpline asking. Need to do better Hotpoint.

Had this just over a year, people have been out twice, it doesn’t matter what washing powder, gel , tablets etc I use or what cycle everything still comes out as dirty as it went in but just wet !

The whole experience of buying the washing machine on Amazon is quick and easy, the machine was delivered on time and with care, when I factored the delivery cost of other outlets the deal on Amazon was by far the best, the washing machine is perfect and does everything that it says it should. Quick cycles and reduced creases.
