Matthew Kerwick –
I can’t find a fault with the watch. It is pretty much best smartwatch I’ve owned so far and I’ve had many.
A charge lasts more than a week. The OS is simple and straightforward. Much better than I expected.
I’m pleased with my purchase.
Update: returned it as wouldn’t keep connected to phone. A shame as it was great otherwise

I was amazed after buying this watch because it was so good the battery lasts 2 to 3 days. It is like an Apple Watch but so much cheaper. The only problem is that it does not seamlessly integrate and works with android phone you have to install a Xiaomi app. also it does not work seamlessly with iPhone so you have to install some other apps and give them the notification permissions. Otherwise I would have loved to use this watch if it works with Google services. The voice quality the music and the seamless integration of notifications was still breathtaking.

I had the original Watch Fit, and while that smartwatch was great, the Watch Fit 2 is both a significant upgrade and a welcome one!
Pros:
– Beautiful Display. Larger than the original and looks amazing, especially if you pick a black background for a watch face.
– Build Quality. It’s not metal, but it feels solid and well made. It’s also light so you never feel like it’s bothering you or in the way. I easily fall asleep with it on.
– Accuracy. This is a big one, but this model is right up there when it comes to HR measurements. It’s perfect for even heavy workouts and will keep up with you. I’ve had Samsung Watches and their HR tracking wasn’t anywhere close to as accurate as this. If you need to track HR for workouts, get this one!!!
– Battery. Lasts me a couple of days, even with heavy workouts and the always on display. If I turn off the always on display I get 6-7 days easily. Charging is also very, very fast. Usually ready to go within an hour.
– Notifications and Calling. This watch will send notifications you can send prepopulated replies to and it’s handy to answer calls on the watch itself.
– Value. I got the Watch on sale for 149.00CAD and there’s no beating the utility and value you get from it compared to the others (Apple watch, galaxy watch4/5 etc).
Cons:
– The setup process is a little laborious and takes time as you have to get into the Huawei ecosystem, which means downloading their own App Gallery. It’s not a major problem but it’s a little time consuming. Once you’re setup you’re good to go, though.
– Limited Apps at the moment. But I don’t use many apps and the native health tracking apps via Huawei are perfect for me.

I got the value for my money. I really like it and I’m still using it.

Easy to use, app is downloadable for any brand of phone. Watch face customisable with your own photos or multiple pre set faces to choose from. Lots of features like hr, sp02, stress tests, silent alarms, music downloadable onto the watch, take and make phonecalls with a great speaker, read notifications with quick replies with texts, messenger, WhatsApp. Yet to use the workouts but looks great!

Great battery life
Value for money
Easy to use
Big screen
Fits small to medium wrist
I’m enjoying using the watch, great to see my steps and challenging me more to get up and move.
Love the sleep mode, being able to see my sleep and adjusting my pattern to aid my results has been good for me.
I do the breathing exercises when promoted and found I’m drinking more water as prompted.

I have had a couple of Android watches, which cost twice the price, all I can say is this watch works as well or better, in some areas.
Heart tracking is accurate, it auto detects exercises, you can take calls and reply to messages, control Spotify or load your own music, and lots more, plus it has a great battery lasting at least a week.
It’s lightweight and nice looking, you can easily dress this up or down as you need, just by using different watch faces (of which there are many).
No issues with connection to your phone and the partner app is really good.

It does everything a smart watch should, but it has one incredibly annoying problem. You cannot switch off or even turn down the digitly synthesised ticking noise on the stopwatch or the countdown. On previous watches, I use these features all of the time. In this case it is so loud it is unusable. Why can’t this be switched off? I’m actually thinking about replacing the watch because it is so annoying. Epic UX fail.
Ted Shrier –
Always been a Huawei fan. Their products never disappoint. This excellent smart watch is a case in point.
Prionsarebad –
I have owned and used the 1st gen Huawei watchfit for a year and have loved it. I didn’t really need to order the latest version in respect of functionality but did so because I wanted the larger watch face. Not only is it obviously easier to look at but it makes it more of a proper watch size as opposed to an exercise type band.
The amoled screen is beautiful and the chipset has presumably been improved because it is smoother and faster to navigate around the menus/functions.
Summing up, if you didn’t own the 1st gen watch then this is a top value proposition when compared to the prices of other smartwatches. If you owned the original watchfit this is not a necessary upgrade but a nice one nonetheless.

I wanted a cheapish GPS watch that also had the ability to play music, allowing me to run without my phone. This watch is perfect for the price.
I run in fairly rural locations and the GPS locates within 10 seconds. While I don’t doubt a more expensive watch would be more accurate, the GPS appears accurate enough for my needs.
The watch allows you to store music locally on it. The upload process was fast and simple using an android phone. While I’ve struggled to find exactly what the capacity is, I’ve uploaded 200+ songs with ease, so there’s plenty of space for a great running playlist.
The Huawei Health app it uses is also great for analysing exercise and links to Strava with ease.
Ignoring all the other features the watch has and given that it’s £100s cheaper than similar running watches, I think this is a fantastic option for a runner who wants something that does the job at a decent price point.

I had always considered buying a smartwatch. As a Huawei phone user, I looked at the various options at hand. It has all the features I want from a fitness band but also the ability to answer calls, reply to messages and ‘find my phone’, among many others. I mainly bought it to help better track my sleep and for notification purposes, which it executes really well. What I really like about the synchrony between the watch and the phone is being able to control which apps can notify you of new activity. It fits nicely and the strap colour is personalisable too. And for the price, its amazing! I would highly recommend this to Huawei phone users in particular who would use it for similar purposes to me. Non-Huawei users can benefit from it too but may not be able to access all features.

I love this Huawei Fit 2, very good, battery life 6 to 7 days with the GPS on, the Sleep track is very good almost like the Fitbit HR, the Step count is off, maybe because it
doesn’t have a stride length adjustment like Fitbit has. the Microphone better than my Iphone 8. the Text messages are so easy to read and answering the calls superb!.
The fitness tracking is also very good almost similar to my HR. I need it to replace my Fitbit Charge 4, I was going to get the Charge 5 but decided for the Huawei Fit 2 and after 2 month of using it I am Glad I did the switch, so far no regrets.
Dont think twice and give it a try you can always send it back if you dont like it.
