Abhishek Thakur –
My Samsung Active watch died after 26 months and rather than spend £150+ on a replacement (with questionable reliability and service) I decided I’d try a cheaper alternative.
One of the main criteria for me is something that is relatively small as I have quite small wrists for a man, this fits nicely on the wrist and I have no trouble sleeping in it.
Functionally it seems to work well and does everything that I want it to do. The battery seems to last 4 or 5 days without any trouble with everything turned on.
Compared to my Samsung;
You can only view messages that come through but cant send pre written replies.
There is a delay when starting a workout whilst the watch finds satellites, you have to select the work out you want to do, wait a bit (maybe 20 seconds) whilst it finds satellites, then select again to start the workout. That’s a bit annoying and means its very easy to come back to hit go.
The sleep tracking seems unreliable – I had a night when my daughter was ill, so she was in and out of my bed, I was in and out of her room etc all night and frankly had an awful night sleep, but the watch didnt notice any of that logged that I had a good night sleep.
HR reading is strong and accurate.
With regards to the app and connecting to your phone – I had a faff on xmas day and was convinced that the app wasnt working, so waited a few days expecting it to be fixed. Then a bit of googling and I had to install the Huawei app store (which felt a bit ropey), then download the Health app from that.
Once done all works well and have no issues.
In summary, few niggles, few things it does better than the Samsung and a few worse, but for a third of the price I am more than happy with this, and have ordered my wife one.

Love the watch. The app is easy to use and set-up is very straight forward. Some people say that the straps are to small but it was a great fit for me. Love the interface and also the different faces that you can have. Only had it 3 days but love it loads. Like the fact that you can have a night time mode so don’t get disturbed by all the message notifications. The interface is easy to get use to and you will love the brightness of the screen and the battery life so far on 3rd whole day is at 60%. It states 10 days battery but this depends on how much you use it. As it is new I think I am looking at the screen more that I should be lol.

When I read the reviews I wondered whether this watch would do itself justice and I’m really glas to say it has. It’s got loads of different, useful features. It’s comfortable to wear. I love the different face display options for what you want to use it for. It syncs great with my phone. The alr
Alarm vibration wakes me. The battery life is AMAZING!! The sleep tracker is ok. If you’re still but awake it thinks you’re sleeping. I woke 4 times the other night and it only logged one (if you get up it logs it, but not if you’re just lying awake thinking. I rarely sit down as I have 3 kids and work, but I did manage to sit and watch a programme for 40 mins and it said I had a nap ha but I can very much recall the entire episode so I was definitely awake. All in all though a great watch. Very happy

Does all the basics and helps me with timers and getting me up and off my butt. Still working after quite some time and use. Worth the money spent.

Been using it every day for several months and it works great! It’s fairly accurate, losing some steps here and there, but the heart rate is almost in sync with proffesional equipement.

It connected to my phone easily, unlike a previous watch that never managed to do that and was returned.
It is comfortable to wear. The screen display is very clear and attractive. Mine lets you know battery life at all times. The sleep monitoring is useful and informative when the app works but it has had problems uploading the data from the watch at times. I have never found the ‘built in GPS’. When I was exploring the software early on, the watch came up with a list of useful widgets, like timers and a flashlight. I tried some of them but when I came out of that screen I was never able to find it again. However, I did manage to salvage a stopwatch widget to the front screen and that is still there and working.
Overall, I like the watch to wear and it is very reasonable value. If the software was user frieindly (and maybe if all the features were present, accessible and worked) we might have a terrific watch on our wrists. If the company could get it all together, you might not want to bother with watches costing x times more

I have had a number of Fitbits & Garmins over the last 8 years & I must say this has been the best for accuracy considering the much lower price.
Usually I would buy a watch the £200-250 range to makes sure I get all the bells & whistles for exercise & health. The last 2, Fibit Sense 2 & Garmin Vivoactive 4 ,have been so inaccurate for Oxygen saturation & run distance that I had to return them as they were useless. If my saturations were always 88% as these watches indicated, I would certainly have a problem. An oximeter reading of 99% at the same time showed how poor these readings were. The Fitbit had real issues with it’s charger continuously breaking too.
I then found this watch which was so much cheaper, I decided it couldn’t be less accurate & at least I had a working watch for heart rate as I have atrial flutter.
Well, I have been quite surprised at how good it is. It does take a bit of time to hook up to GPS but realised it was because I wear my watch facing down from my wrist. For exercise I have changed that & connectivity is much improved.
I also found it wasn’t sending data to Strava but by syncing manually it sorted it out & now syncs to Strava without problem.
For the price, it does all I want. My oxygen saturations are now comparable with a proper oximeter & exercise distance is as correct as it could be.
I don’t really bother with watch faces, the free ones are adequate. And battery life is much, much better than both Fitbit & Garmin. I can go 3 days without needing to charge & that involves GPS on all the time, sleep monitoring & 2 hours of exercise daily minimum.
Happy customer.
