This is a great idea, and sturdy. Can be used with or without the scabbard (blade cover) – a clip-in piece is supplied to fill the gap. Be aware that because the walls are so thick (~3cm) the interior dimensions are not as big as you might think – great for small and medium Husvarna chainsaws but do check compatibility before buying to store other brands. Can say from experience it is not compatible with many Stihl chainsaws where the handle comes out to the side (e.g. MS231/251/231C/251C-BE) as the box is too narrow. It would be helpful if the interior / exterior dimensions were included in the product information – so here they are:
Interior: H: 26cm W: 24cm L:46cm
Exterior: H: 33cm W: 30cm L: 52cm (97cm long with blade cover in place)
Do shop around as there are several sellers even within Amazon and the price varies around fourfold from around £50 to over £200

Well made and very sturdy. Fits my Stihl 029 like a glove and has lots of storage space for the needed tools like the combo wrench/flat blade driver, files, spare spark plug, Oil for gas & bar, gloves, etc.
I was a little unsure initially when I read a review from someone using a Stihl 029 and they had to modify the inside with a Dremel, but I didn’t have to alter it at all. The other cool feature is that it has a flat top so I can store other items on top when transporting or storing in my garage.

The fact that you can have your chainsaw, files, oil and spare chain all in 1 box AND keep any leaking contained makes this box definitely work the money.
