Don’t know what all the gripes in the review were about. I love this saw. I’m a 70 year old lday who gets out and uses this to cut branches and small logs for firewood. My hubby had to initially work with it to prime it to start but now no problem. I recommend using it for light to medium duty cutting only. If it starts to smoke or bog down, get the chain sharpened. Dull chains is what overheats and shuts down the motor. Keep the chain bar oiled and keep your saw clean after use. Get extra chains as well
Great bargain for the buck

My first experience with any kind of a chainsaw, almost got stalled in assembling, almost had problem in running, but, with trail and error method i got it running. Cold start is a cold start, but, after the warmup one pull starts the engine, i just made myself a lumberjack with a husq

Husqvarna 120 mark 2
Cutting trees upto 16inch. No problems
Running for about 90minutes at any one time, no issues
Using to cut up firewood and tree felling
Using aspen 2 fuel, starts every time
Had to buy a carboretor adjuster to tweak fuel flow at high speed. Much improved once tweaked.
Extremely happy with purchase, would buy again, been running about a month.
Update.. a couple of months after extensive use the piece of plastic that holds the chain saw tensioner in place broke during use. The saw jammed whilst cutting a trunk and forced the bar to one side breaking the piece. This meant the bar couldn’t be securedrfor use. I suspect a design fault. Purchased a piece of steel plate from an auction site specifically cut to replace the plastic that broke and back working fine. For the cost of the saw. A small issue once repaired but still an issue.

I previously had a Stihl saw of a similar spec bought on Amazon which no matter what I did with it would not run, it started once then refused to start again i tried different fuel heating the spark plug, leaving the plug out for severl hours in case of flooding, nothing worked, so I returned it muh to the sellers disgust. I then bought this one at £100 cheaper, again from Amazon, it started on the button first time ran exactly as it was supposed to on half choke, and settled down to idle very smoothly. I left it for several hours and started it again primed the carb bubble ,3 pulls and it was off running perfectly again. I left it for a week and tried again, exactly the same, running perfectly holding idle after a few mins no issues. You wont fell a giant redwood with it but with a little patience and allowing it to do the work rather than forcing it, keeping the chain oiled, sharp, and tight, I don’t see how you can go wrong for the money!

Yep read the other reviews. Mine hard to start at first use and would not idle. I love Husqvarna. I have other power tools from them and this little saw is just what I need for smaller projects. I went on their website and found the answers. First, cold start prime 6 pumps. Second, set choke on full. Set on ground and pull to start. Once running check the throttle to see if it will idle. If the engine will not idle, find the little set screw marked “T” using the screw driver end of the wrench tool that comes with the saw and turn the T screw clockwise until the chain starts turning on its own then back off a few turns until it just stops turning. When warm starting still prime 6 pumps. Pull and it starts right up and idles. I love this little guy now.

This is a great deal for a Husqvarna but they are not as heavy duty as the rancher or other models I’ve used but the price is okay it is a great deal considering it’s delivered to your door but you can get one of these at the dealer for $159 before taxes . But if you’re looking for a great saw Husqvarna cannot be beat I’ve used several of them and they are great for dependability and durability
