I ordered this to replace a broken mandrel on a Husqvarna LTH130 42″ Mower deck. I haven’t gotten it installed yet, but I’m fairly confident it will work for my application. However, there are a few reasons why I’m rating it 2 stars. Although this item is the same size as the original housing, the mounting holes on this one are not threaded, and it does not come with replacement bolts to mount it to the deck. Secondly, it needs a 5/16th bolt in order for the hex head to slide up into the bottom side of the housing and not spin when tightening. In order to do this, I had to drill the mounting holes larger to accept a bolt with the proper sized head to fit tightly into the hex holes. Finally, you will still have to purchase the spindle/bearing assembly as this is only the housing. For roughly the same price as this housing, you can get the entire setup fully assembled.

Although this product will work with a few modifications, I’d recommend not purchasing this.

This mandrel was heavier than the last mandrel I purchased which should mean that it is of better quality metal. Came with bolts. Perfect match.

I read the reviews and had a slight bit of skepticism, but after receiving it I can say that I am completely satisfied. The mandrel is an exact replacement for the one that failed. It is threaded, it came with not 3, but 4 bolts. (only 3 were needed)
This was a replacement for my Husqvarna YTH1542XP.

Apparently these are fairly widely used. My rider happens to be a Poulan.
