This is indeed the OEM replacement part for a 430x. It’s a couple dollars more than buying direct from Husqvarna, who supplies a pretty-well-done parts site. Husqvarna will get it out to you quickly as well, but for 10 dollars in shipping – free with orders over 50 dollars, so no real need to buy on Prime and spend the extra bucks if you are getting other parts as well. Please note that this does NOT include the retaining collar (Cover, Kit Bearing part 587449601) nor does it include the plastic screws that retain that cover. Sadly those screws are 2.99 each, and Husqvarna only sells them in packs of 10 – that’s 30 bucks for screws, when you need only 3 to replace any lost with the cover kit. Just know this going in – it’s worth looking at the parts schema on Husqvarna’s own website. Hope this was helpful.

Our 450X is about six years old and after doing some redecorating our yard (1 acre), we found out that our mower encountered some issues while mowing and for example, driving onto the stones we have stacked around some of our flower beds and driving over some of the sticks our dogs like to lay around.
Our old Skid Plate got a beating and got dented. For a while, hammering it straight worked, but eventually, even that did not keep the mowing mechanism balanced. So I decided to buy the new skid plate, and, it did exactly what it needed to do. Our mower is humming happily along.
I have to give a huge shout-out to Husqvarna, who has made these mowers very easy to maintain and to replace parts DIY. It took about a minute to replace.
