I use these shears to cut down piles of brush and other sticks that i can’t chainsaw, and over large acres of wooded forest that includes varying types of trees and foliage. This shear cuts pine and maple branches up to 1/2 inch thick, although I tend to use these mostly for brush so they stay sharp (i also sharpen my own tools). In general the shear makes field/trail management much more effective. Very light and you can feel the damper working which is cool. I dont use these for home gardening, this is a homestaed tool that takes a heavy beating. I have many other Husqvarna products as well and can say that I am certainly a loyal customer of theirs. These are as good if not better than my daily go to Felco’s 2’s. Like Felco’s, they just work. And they match the rest of the powerful cutting equipment fleet we own around here from Husquvarna chainsaws and weed eaters to blowers and hedge clippers. Very impressed with these by pass pruners.

these are a great loppers for the money. Don’t try and save a buck at a big box store if you need a loppers for more then a weekend project. these will last.
