I have a bagger but mostly side discharge unless it’s spring or fall clean up. These have much more power than the factory blades on my Husqvarna YTH22V46 mower! Even when discharging, my lawn looks better because it disperses it with far more velocity than the factory blades therefore there aren’t any clumps or piles of clippings like there were before. I haven’t used it with my bagger yet but like all the other reviews have stated I bet they will perform exceptionally well. One thing I note is that when comparing these side by side with the factory blades they appear to be close to identical in their shape and design but these are substantially better and lifting/blowing power!

Bought this as a last-ditch effort to get my VERY expensive bagger to work. And, what do you know!?!?!? It actually works now! I wish I had known to buy this earlier, but my local home improvement shop gave me bad information when I got my bagger, so I struggled for years with clogging to the point I was ready to trash the bagger all together. With these new blades, the mower has no issues lifting the grass, even with my very think and plush Zoysia yard. It still struggles when the grass is wet, or if you hit a lot of large leaves or sticks, but I can understand that.

In search of a better way to cut my yard, I began experimenting with different high-dollar mulching blades, ones with great reviews and interesting functional concepts. Some of these blades cost $70 pair! I did this for an entire season and The bottom line is…they all failed to meet expectations.
Somewhat in desperation, I bought these to return to a Husqvarna product for my Husky 46″ mower. I sharpened and balanced them before installing, though they were pretty sharp and well balanced from the factory.
Amazingly, my yard instantly looked better, with a very even cut and the cuttings being distributed much more evenly than with the other blades. I’m happy!
I only knock them for the price – these are almost identical to the original blades but a bit heavier duty, but you can buy similar blades for about 30% less.

Many people shop online to save money, however, you should have some knowledge of the product you are about to install, ie, there is a top and bottom, the blades are sharp and there is a torque setting on how tight to tighten the nut. Incorrect installation could cause severe vibration and may even come off. Very possibly hurting the operator. Another common problem is holding the blade while you tighten the nut. Please do not try to hold it with your hand! Usually, a block of wood can be wedged in an area to hold the blade from turning while you tighten the nut.
