I bought this to basically keep my downspouts clear during the spring and summer to stop water from backing up.
Well I was so happy to be able to reach most of my gutters that I went ahead and did all that I could reach.
When my gutter guy showed up in November he was impressed about how well the attachment cleaned the gutters but not so happy that he couldn’t charge me full price. He’s a great guy so I’ll make sure that I’ll just keep the downspouts clear ,but that might be kinda hard. LOL.
The gutter attachment works really well. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and really does the job! It can be a little difficult given the fact that it’s long, but after using it a few times it became a non issue. I also like the fact that you can turn it left or right. It’s given new life to my old 125B that was sitting in the shed. For the price of this you can’t go wrong except in the eyes of your gutter guy.
Northern lights –
I used it on my Husky 125B handheld blower. Assembly was pretty simple, accept for the pivot tube. When I first looked at it, I noticed two slits cut into the end that slides over the new L shaped tube coming from the blower. The directions are a bit sketchy but did mention ‘pushing the slotted end of the pivot tube over the elbow tube on the blower’. ( when I saw those slits, I though it may have been a return that someone had modified )
Once I had those on the blower, I attached 3 more tubes and goose neck for the height I needed. Leaned the tube part against the house, started the blower and one hand one the tube stack, the other on the blower. Just lean the tube on the edge of the gutter and little angle with the goose neck and slowly walk along and out come the leaves.
The operation of it is somewhat awkward with the tube wanting move when you vary speed of the blower, but contrary to the negative reviews, on a single story house, if your of average strength, can walk and chew gum at the same time…you shouldn’t have a problem using it.

Successfully mated this to my Hust BT150 backpack. The tube is a bit of a tight fit in the BT150 flex tube and I had to trim a plastic tab on the 90 degree bottom pipe and beveled the edge a bit with a file to ease starting it. It does fit snug and clamp in good, doesn’t free itself. Works well to clean the maple leaves from the gutter which is exactly what I got it for. It’s all a bit unwieldy but that is expected with such a long extension. The pipes do flex quite a bit under the CFM output of the the BT150 which means right hand on the throttle, left hand bracing the tube. All of this said – yah it’s a bit pricey for some plastic tubes (I think ABS) but it serves a niche purpose. I cleaned my gutters in 10 minutes and never got on a ladder, that’s a win.
