Bought a used YTH22V46 with a “rebuilt” deck. The spindle had been replaced, but the brakes had not. One brake was eaten all the way through the metal, beyond it’s correct position, and rubbing on the belt. The originals were black, although I’m not sure if that’s just from oil and dirt or if they were painted black. That seems to be the only difference.
Replaced the brakes and belt in less than an hour. It’s an entirely new mowing experience… 🙂

Works perfectly. Other buyers complained about the surface rust and not powder coated. This doesn’t bother me as long it’s doing it’s job.

These parts were an exact replacement for my tractor.

Parts seem to be ok quality. Originals from Poulan were black powder coated or enameled. These are bare, will probably oxidize sooner. The other issue is I looked these up by part number and unfortunately the left side brake was too tall for my mower. Right side was an exact match. I can’t tell if these are actual Husqvarna parts, but based on the lack of a coating, I doubt it. The stock Poulan parts were coated which is a lower tiered brand.
