   This machine is fantastic. Huge drum ,perfect for a big family. Really like the customisation you can do through the app. Had it about 8 months pretty good so far.

   The media could not be loaded.

   I will go into detail when I recover. OK. lets get into it, the instructions were wrong. one of the bolts goes into a black plastic lattice thing not shown that prevents the hole being plugged as specified. judging by the rubble in the bottom of the box one of the counterweights had broken which would account for the imbalance and something being caught in the drum making that horrible noise. it went clunk after a while and though it still shakes the house it does the job. why haven’t i returned it? I’m disabled. it nearly killed me installing it and it’s there till one of us dies. its such a shoddy piece of crap. cant even remove the stupid protective film unless you disassemble it. it looks tatty. I’m 48 and every other washing machine I’ve had bar one has been from a skip and I’ve fixed it and had it for years. my last one was a beko i paid £20 for and it was still going when i gave it away after 7 years to treat myself to this junk so i could wash sleeping bags. not the worst decision of my life but it is up there, top 5.

   Great washer. The only thing I am unhappy with is that it doesn’t switch off, it stays on standby and I cannot switch it off remotely.

   Now after two years the drum paddle has broken off and the others are loose too.

   Washing machine is good. Lots of options. 14kg massive drum so I can wash the kids and my clothes at the same time. And it fits in the same size hole your 8kg would fit.
   The Wi-fi is frustrating to connect. It uses Bluetooth to connect to the WiFi. It only connects to 2.4ghz network as long as there are no special characters in the password. As of now I have only managed to do 1 load via the app and it’s only because I pressed the ‘Eco’ button by mistake. There are 64 cycle choices on the app and all are adaptable. You chan change things like spin speed, temp, add pre wash etc. Some cycle choices are Whites, Chocolate, Wetsuites, Wine, Blood, Shoes, Playsuits, Bikinis and lots more. I have not been able to start any of these cycles so cannot rate them. And I wouldn’t rate the app anyway. If fact minus 2 stars because I’m soo frustrated. For 2 days and can’t make the app work. I have almost every smart gadget out there and this app is the worst. I’m not a novice or noob, I know a bit about smart stuff and phones.
   I’ll give it a few more days googling and contacting customer service for hours before I update the review.
   Edit: 5 days later.
   I figured out how to connect successfully. I disabled Bluetooth on my device and was given the option of connecting via Wi-fi only on the app. (In tiny little letters so it’s easy to miss) I did this and was able to successfully start a wash cycle from the list of 64 available, within minutes.
   I have given another star for the successful Wi-fi connection but still sadly only 4 stars because there’s no instructions on the Hoover / Candy / Indesit website, or anywhere on the internet, nor in the user manual or on the app or YouTube that tells you how to do this.
   My next task is to figure out how to change the wash notification language from Spanish to English. Luckily I understand some Spanish so I know the wash has just finished.
   Update October 2022. The drum has dropped and water is flooding all over the floor. Hellllpppp!!,

   Replaced a 10kg hoover washer, was 4.5 years old but was buying a new tumble dryer and the old washer had a touch dial which I didn’t like. The new one has a much better control panel and the app works really well. It seems to use more water, hard to tell. You really see the water and detergent getting blasted in with this one. Very pleased with this machine so far. Well packaged and fast delivery. Great job!

   Seems to be a very good washing machine. Wi-Fi, don’t use it, don’t have a mobile. Illness disabilities.
   Seller was so so helpful with the changing of appointment, polite and helpful on the phone, deliverers were excellent.
