I used the hedge trimmer once and it cut the hedges ok and had a reasonable battery life. Three weeks later I went to use the trimmer again and it cut out 5 seconds after I started it. Batteries were fully charged and the trimmer’s power light was on, but the blades wouldn’t move.
Unfortunately this happened 2 days after the 30 day return window so I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement or a refund. After 2 weeks of emails they eventually told me that they had none in stock and they wouldn’t refund me – they then said I should ask Amazon for a refund.
Big thumbs up to Amazon as they have authorised a refund for me and did so promptly and without fuss. My advice to anyone looking at HYECHO products is to look for something else.

Upgraded to this hedge cutter from a petrol one. Much , much lighter than petrol but still gives great cutting performance.
Bought the 36v version as we have a long hedge and this machine coped with it very well, battery lasted very well.
Extra useful feature is the ability to twist the handle, meaning that the trimmer is incredibly easy to use , whatever the angle.
Also the cutting blades are long, meaning that you can cut more hedge at once.

This cordless hedge trimmer is lightweight and powerful, I can do all the sides of my garden by myself. Very easy to set it up, easy to work. Battery charges fast and lasts for a few days. Nice and modern design. Great it has long blades and can cut thicker branches.

The trimmer is good quality and so is the battery . If you are not use to using power tools for a period of time you might struggle with the weight of the machine . No complaints though just as described and good service for delivery

I have 5 long and high Leylandy hedges and used a heavy petrol trimmer for years believing electric ones were not up to the job. Wrong! Grudgingly at 82 yrs old I relented and bought this one. Works great, surprised by the power, might sound slower that the petrol one but cuts efforlessly. It is not light but much lighter than my Mitox petrol one. I have not worked it for long spells as I know through my experience with Lipo batteries (still fly battery powered 90mm edf jet models) it is better to recharge before the battery bogs down. Good price,good machine…….Update after using on longest hedge…..highly recommend this machine, effortless cutting and the swivel handle is a great help.
