Delivery was quick – so no issues there. The main assembly issue is the grass box because you have to be firm with clipping it together but once that’s done, it’s ok to attach. Removing it from the mower does mean you have to maneuver yourself but it’s a minor point. When assembling, they don’t tell you the mulching device is already inserted so remember to remove before use. There are a couple of things to be aware of though. If you are cutting long grass, it will clog up quickly causing the mower to cut out, so you have to constantly turn it on its side to remove the grass. The grass collector does not collect the grass clippings very effectively and so you’ll need to unblock the rear section of the mower – not sure if this would be the case for shorter grass. My biggest issue is the run time – they claim circa 30 minutes and you could do around 200 square metres. Simply put – no. You can run around really fast (not doing a great job in the process) and cut that kind of area in about 15 minutes which is what you will get from a fully charged battery. My lawn is roughly square and about 140 square metres – I managed to cut about a third on a single charge. The remainder was done with only a partial charge, not using the grass collector and literally sprinting round the lawn. The battery does charge up quickly (fully charged in about 70 minutes). I wanted a cordless mower for the convenience and this one seemed to fit the bill and was within my budget but I would not buy this for a lawn that is more than 70 square metres – you will not finish the job on a single charge. Now to be fair, it could be I have a dodgy battery and I have contacted the seller who is referring me to aftersales – (as of 12th March 2021) – so perhaps they can advise me. Good points are it is lightweight, if you don’t use the grass collector, you can whizz around a lawn quickly so great for the first cut of the year just to get on top of the lawn itself. It’s easy to adjust the height also which is a nifty feature (simple design so less likely to go wrong but not as elegant as other designs). The design itself is mediocre at best – most mowers with a grass collector make use to the vacuum effect of the blades to literally suck the grass cuttings into the collector – this one has not been engineered well enough to do that successfully. If you have a small lawn, this would be a great buy and worth having. If you have a medium-large lawn, only buy with multiple batteries and be prepared for a lot more faff clearing out the rear of the mower.

This is written on day 1. It was a bit fiddly to put together, required a little patience. And you have to push the battery in further than you think. But it does the job brilliantly and mows right up to the edge of the lawn wiithout any hassle. After years of pushing a heavy petrol rotary mower, I think I am in heaven.

Only received my new lawnmower today, fully charged it, and have already mown my lawn (80-90 sq.m.) and only used half of the battery’s capacity. Found the machine easy to manoeuvre, light to manage and overall, so far, am well pleased.
