So, just tried mine out after having received it today. It’s really very good, it picks up leaves easily, it even picks up twigs, and acorns/husks too if those are a nightmare for you (as they are for me). I have an artificial lawn…so I suspect the wheels won’t work that well on real grass. Also, it’s quite short, so stooping is required…if you’re 6ft or over with a back issue it might not be for you. I am 5′ 8″ with a back issue, though it was ok for me…weight was fine. For under £50 it’s a good buy. A powerful motor, though it’s quite noisy so don’t go out at 7am with it! Finally, on the ‘suck up’ feature, it really does chop the debris very fine. Also it’s compact, so storage will be a lot easier than my old one. A good buy for me. Hope this helps!

After a poor performance from a previous leaf blower/sucker from a different manufacturer, it took a while to persuade my husband to purchase this little gem, he is delighted with its performance. He has shoulder problems so the wheels are a bonus, large zipped bag for ease of emptying, and a powerful suction that cleared our leaf drop in no time. Definitely value for money.

Pleased with this purchase, I have a medium sized garden and the most work I have for it will be in the Autumn, cleaning up leaves off next doors trees that overhang. Why so many of us have this problem is unreal, should be some law that prevents the size and proximity near boundaries but that’s another story, I could go on and on. Anyway back to this Hyundai, it is cheap and cheerful, light weight and manageable. I like the large collection bag, the long cable and the wheels that are a great help. It is quite powerful and the ability to mulch allows a lot of the waste to go straight into the compost. It is quite noisy but most of them are and it is not that strongly built. For me that is not a problem because I will only have occasional work to do and nothing heavy. If you need one for more continual and heavier work would recommend you pay a bit more and go more up market

Positive points: 1. It works okay. Ish. 2. It was really easy to assemble – just take it out of the box and attach the bag – simple! 3. The 12 metre cable is great – I only had to move my extension lead a couple of times.
Negative points: 1. It isn’t very powerful – for a while I wondered whether it was actually working. 2. The end of the nozzle needs to be about 1 mm above the leaves to pick anything up. 3. The nozzle isn’t very long. I am 6’1” tall, so quite tall but not exactly a giant, and I had to keep bending forwards to get the nozzle in contact with the leaves, and so my back aches after using it. 4. Don’t even try to use it on wet or even slightly damp leaves – you would be better off using a rake.
Conclusion:
I have had a few garden vacuums, and for the price this was no better or worse than any of them. The only reason I got rid of my old ones is because they just stopped working. Guess I need to start saving and buy a professional quality garden vac!

Hyundai leaf blower/Vac:
Great product, not just value for money (which it is at £45-50), it works really well and it’s easy to get it out and started, do the job, and empty (via a zip at the bottom of the bag).
– Comes out of the box ready to go (packed well). – Cleans up quickly – Stows away easily – Suction/blow has a dial range of power from very low to very high (will suck up slate chippings if not careful!) Use a lower setting for leaves on chippings. – Good blowing power too – will easily blow the petals from your plants and move your chippings so again, use the dial to adjust (doesn’t click to settings, just smoothly moves through a range so you can be exact with what you need). – Has a strap – Bag looks robust (decent material) – Unit is reasonably light (not ultra lightweight but you have a strap in any case – plus it’s seemingly made of durable stuff) – Picks up; leaves (old and new), buds, moss clumps, chippings (but would avoid this!), little sticks, feathers (big and small), …things like that.
Not sure why it’s had some bad reviews. I’m not easily this pleased but it’s been a great new toy and saves me loads of time doing the job manually.
I can only presume bad reviews might be faulty units or high expectations for price range.

This is a light and powerful vacuum. Suction is adjustable to avoid picking up stones. The wheels and rectangular suction head mean that you can use it on a patio rather as you would use a standard vacuum cleaner. No assembly is required just plug in and use. Switching between suck and blow is done by simply moving a lever. It picks up and mulches small cuttings and leaves easily. It struggles with larger leaves due to its small air path but these can be raked up more easily. It won’t cope with large twigs but again a garden rake with get these. On the negative side the collection bag isn’t very strong and I think it will wear through quite quickly, however I’m not concerned about this as i can replace it with one from my last Bosch leaf blower. Overall very good value for money and would recommend but be aware that you might have to repair or replace the bag with something else.

I bought this item because we have a problem with leaves falling from next doors Silver Birch tree. My husband needed this Item to help in clearing them up. After a learning curve he now finds it easy and very useful. This is a solid and good value.
