   I have been camping/glamping for some years and have never mastered than breakfast staple of toast. I saw these toast makers for portable gas stoves and thought “that won’t work”. Humble pie for me it does work!
   You have to play with the gas level, I found low and long is better that high and fast unless you like t black around the edges. You will need some oven gloves and don’t place it down on your best camping table it does get very hot.

   This is a great little gadget for making toast over a flame! It’s simple to use and does the job well. Depending on the size of your flame, you can easily adjust and move it around to ensure even toasting.

   The design is straightforward and practical, making it ideal for camping or outdoor cooking. It’s lightweight and easy to pack, yet sturdy enough to handle regular use.

   If you enjoy toast while camping or want a fun way to cook outdoors, this is a handy bit of kit to have on hand. Definitely worth it!

   Looking at the reviews for this item I was a little skeptical, but having used it in my camping stove multiple times now I can’t see why people have problems with it. Put it on firstly to warm up on a medium heat, then add your toasting food of choice, lower the flame to a moderate level, keep an eye on it and rotate the food often to get an even toast.

   I wouldn’t recommend using this on full power or on a stove like a jet boil, this is a lightweight cooking device, if you use a flame thrower on it, it’s bound to fail, but if you treat it with care and attention it’s a nifty little device. I didn’t need to use gloves but I would suggest some may need to or get one of those silicon handle grips, also a pair of tongues so you don’t burn your pinkies. All in all, it works, it’s cheap, basic, effective and if looked after will no doubt last for years. 👍

    We have used this toaster many times and are very pleased with it.
    Fits perfectly on a portable gas stove and toasts bread well. It is a bit small so takes some effort but managed to toast 4 slices at once, turning to cover all edges!!
