I’ve had a few milk frothers – most recently a Lavazza easy milk one which was excellent – quick and consistent until a cat knocked it onto the floor and it broke. I liked the look of the larger capacity of this Instant brand one and the extra control over temperate and foam amounts was a real plus. Stanless steel jug and the whisk are also dishwasher proof too which was a draw.
However – as other reviewers have stated, it is incredibly slow – and while the capacity is larger, it just barely foams enough milk for two milk- based coffees at once (max fill for medium foam is about 250mls, so if you like it milkier than that, you will need to run in twice)
I checked with Instant that this was not a product defect and it is not – the FAQs on the product website do state that it takes 5-15 minutes to work.
In my experience – just a single serving of milk(120mls or so) at medium froth level takes 6 minutes to work. The same in my old Lavazza was about 2 mins.
Fortunately I was able find this out within the return window and will likely get a direct replacement for the Lavazza I used to have.

Great, you can put the cup in the dishwasher. Nice frothy milk….BUT just too slow. I have a Nespresso one and thats way quicker but you cannot put it in the dishwasher. This is kind of ok if its just one of you. Takes anywhere between 5 and 8 minutes to get a hot cup of frothy milk!
Apart from the time issue it works fine.

This Instant pot frothing machine has given me the best ever frothy milk. Yes it did take longer than my previous milk frothing machines but it’s been well worth just the extra few minutes. This also is the best for easy cleaning I could put this straight into dishwasher or under the tap with a bit of washing up liquid rinse round done then back to the station. I absolutely love this it’s fantastic so from me this does get the full 5 stars

Purchased this based on the high wattage and the instant aspect however it takes 10 minutes to froth max milk on the lowest heat and lowest froth. Awful

Feels “proper”, works well, practical and easy to clean as the jug is removable, steel of a good quality – washes well with no stains. We had a cheap one before – one piece, died after 3 weeks.

Make two small mugs perfectly I’m impressed, could be a little hotter for me so a minute in the microwave before the squirty cream, yum!!
