I still have the JBL charge 2 which still sounds great. The charge 6 is a bit bigger and the bass is very impressive. My only grip is the projection of the treble can be quite harsh so placement of the 6 needs to be careful. Sounds quality (with placement right) is very good. I’m not sure value for money is right noting the charge 5 can be had for considerably less and I doubt there is much difference between the 5 and 6. What is nice on the 6 is the carry strap. That’s a great addition. We normally take 2x Sonos Roam’s on holiday due to size, portability and stereo sound. The charge 6 is bigger in volume than 2s Roam’s but the stereo separation means we would still take the Roam’s. But for bass and having a party then the 6 wins hands down

Love the look of this speaker , built for travelling so don’t worrying about anything . Sound is very good for it’s size , quite a lot of bass and good battery . Very happy with this purchase , if your looking to buy it and don’t think it’s not worth it , as it is worth it .

I recently picked up the JBL Charge 6, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. JBL has once again raised the bar with this speaker. The sound quality is rich, full, and incredibly well-balanced, with punchy bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and highs. Whether I’m indoors or outside, the audio remains clear and powerful.
The battery life is phenomenal — I’ve easily gotten over 20 hours of continuous playtime on a single charge. The added power bank feature is super convenient, especially for long trips or outdoor adventures. Plus, the USB-C charging makes recharging faster and more efficient.

La prima cosa da dire su questa cassa JBL è che nell’inserzione le foto coi colori non corrispondono al nome. Ma prevale la foto, nel senso che se uno ordina quello su cui c’è scritto Rosa poi in realtà gli arriva quello della foto, cioè quello Nero, nel mio caso.
Penso che Amazon metterà a posto l’inserzione a breve.
La cassa di per sé è eccezionale, un prodotto di marca fatto benissimo, il design è bello ed è fatta molto bene. Può essere usata sia in posizione frontale, ma anche in posizione verticale. Le estremità del cilindro sono due grandi punti esclamativi che corrispondono ai subwoofer, che infatti sono a membrana morbida e si muovono con la pressione sonora.
È studiato come una borsetta, nel senso che ha una maniglia che permette di trasportarlo comodamente in giro.
Installazione è avvio sono assolutamente semplici. Apri la scatola lo accendi e subito in automatico il tuo telefono quando attivi l’accoppiamento Bluetooth ti chiede anche se vuoi collegare l’oggetto al tuo account Google e se vuoi anche scaricare subito l’app dedicata di JBL, GBL PORTABLE. Come di consueto ti chiede i permessi per rilevare i dispositivi nelle vicinanze e ti chiede anche la posizione. Se uno vuole poi può togliere il permesso della posizione mentre rimane quello dell’accesso ai dispositivi vicini, che è fondamentale per poter guidare la cassa da un dispositivo Android, ma anche Apple.
Per quanto riguarda la qualità sonora si tratta di un oggetto piccolo ma che esprime una notevole potenza. Le voci, cioè gli alti, sono ben percepibili i medi sono corposi cioè danno spessore alla musica, e i bassi nel momento in cui si agisce anche sulla equalizzatore si fanno sentire, sono presenti. Io sono fissato coi bassi e non mi bastano mai. effettivamente anche in questo caso non si tratta di bassi eccezionali ma più che adeguati alla dimensione dell’oggetto.
Una cosa molto interessante è che è possibile comprare altri dispositivi di JBL e collegarli insieme ottenendo un suono stereo ma anche multicanale, o multistanza.
Sono veramente entusiasta del prodotto, è una cassa eccezionale compatta e fatta veramente bene. Semplicissimo collegarla e iniziare ad utilizzarla.
L’unica cosa da verificare è la resa della batteria e la durata nel tempo.
Un’altra chicca è che la cassa funziona anche come Power Bank molto utile per caricare altri dispositivi.
Non ho ancora provato la ricarica e ne sceglierò i prossimi giorni per vedere quanto sia veloce.

Ho acquistato la JBL Charge 6 fidandomi delle “20 ore di autonomia” dichiarate. Dopo vari test, devo dire con dispiacere che non ci siamo proprio.
Con volume al 50%, equalizzatore attivo (non si può disattivare) e ascolto via Bluetooth, la durata si ferma a circa 7-8 ore reali.
Rispetto alla vecchia Charge 5 (che durava anche 10-12 ore), questa ha una batteria più piccola: 4.722 mAh contro i 7.500 mAh del modello precedente. Quindi, anche a livello tecnico, era impossibile aspettarsi un’autonomia uguale o maggiore.
Inoltre, JBL ha adottato un trucco: in modalità singolo altoparlante, attiva una funzione chiamata “PartyBoost” che taglia automaticamente i bassi per far sembrare che la batteria duri di più… ma così la qualità audio peggiora sensibilmente.
È un compromesso non dichiarato che altera completamente l’esperienza d’ascolto.
Alla fine mi ritrovo con:
• Meno autonomia rispetto al modello vecchio
• Bassi ridotti per risparmiare batteria
• Un prezzo non proprio economico
📉 Deluso.
Mi aspettavo un passo avanti, ma sembra un downgrade camuffato da aggiornamento.
