I had a Flip 4 that had taken all the abuse Ive thrown at it around the world. Battery was a lot shorter than new, so decided to upgrade and this is a significant upgrade. Wider sound stage, better battery life, better acoustics. Great decision! It also pairs with my Go 4 (to pair with other speakers, it needs to be the new gen of JBL products). Great product

This is my very first portable speaker and I love it. My only regret is I haven’t bought one sooner. It is soo loud, the sound is beautiful and balanced and it was very easy to connect it to my phone. I was hoping to connect it to my computer too, but didn’t manage. Anyway, I am very happy with it.

In the two hulls of my cataran I am using two Flip units, connected via bluetooth to one android phone each. Sometimes combining them on one phone for stereo sound. Everything works perfectly and smooth.
I remember hours of frustration with other BT speakers, trying to pair or to setup stereo. JBL got everything right: physical design and manufacturing, quality of sound, battery life, software and communication. Totally worth the premium price. Three thumbs up!

This speaker does not pair with other JBL speakers. It probably says it somewhere but I did not see it. So consider this a WARNING! Now when I suse it I just feel disappointed.
