This bed represents amazing value for money (in my opinion). It looks good and would/should have been easily assembled by two, if the instructions had been a little more explicit-check side bars are the right way round! Unfortunately, the holes for the screws in the base of the bed we received were faulty. However, when I rang the helpline they were quick to send a new part without fuss. Now it’s in situ I am very happy.

I was a little hesitant ordering this product without seeing it but needn’t have worried, my daughter needed a new bed so eventually ordered this one after looking at lots of others. The quality and finish is very good and was easy to assemble using the supplied instructions. Very happy with it and my daughter loves it.

Very light weight and does not look ANYTHING like a Victorian bedstead – the proportions are wrong. The ‘brass’ is nasty and a brushed modern finish. Several scratches found when unpacked as paint is so thin.
Shame – it looks good in the photo.

No Longer a Nomad –
Great bed which looks even better than I knew it would. Having taken a good deal of time deciding which bed to buy, I settled on this one because I felt it looked elegant and sturdy. I wasn’t wrong! Assembly was simple enough and straight forward and I’m delighted with it. Ultimately it’s the mattress that makes a bed comfortable or not. But the frame matters too and this one has the sprung slats to assist. My only disappointment was with some parts of the paint finish, which had separated in places leaving the black primer visible. However those areas are hidden from view once assembles so I can live with that. I still highly recommend this product!

I’m so disappointed with the bed. It’s just creeks and squeaks every time you move. We have left writting a review to see if it was new. Nope! Even tried rubber washers and it still squeaks. The bed was delivered damaged and I accepted a refund which was great! But it’s driving us both mad!! So unless you’re deaf or you don’t mind your guest getting a bad night! Sadly avoid it!

Lovely bed . Only issue we have is that it is squeaky after only a few days. We have replaced the metal washers for rubber ones but still having a few noises.

What a lovely bed, took just 1 1/2 hours to put it all together on my own with very easy instructions. Feels very strong and looks the part.
Only one criticism the wooden bed slats feel very weak and only time will tell if they are up to the task but its not a major problem to replace them in the future.
Overall would recommend this bed – we bought it for our holiday cottage in France and I’m sure our guest will enjoy it.
