This product was to replace a petrol lawnmower that got to the end of its life. This replacement was competitively priced and bought at a time when I could take advantage of and an extra free battery from Karcher. For my garden… And for my allotment paths it does the job…I have a small back garden so this does the job fine…but it does struggle a bit with long or thick grass…so be aware of this when buying. It’s not for a paddock or rough ground…it is very light compared to what it replaced…so will be interesting so see if it has longevity. Battery (5Ah) charges quickly and lasts Ok. I am obviously happy with the product as I have now also brought the strummer…..

The mower had been doing its job in a satisfactory manner. The battery takes about 2 hours to charge so planning ahead is necessary. The battery then lasts for about 1/2 hour. This is just long enough for my little patch. The mower is quite unwieldy. It takes quite a lot of strength to insert the battery in the mower. I charged the battery a few days ago. It was fine showing 100 charged. The grass was too wet to cut that day. When I inserted the battery in the mower today nothing happened. On checking the battery screen there was no message. It would not recharge. Considering the battery is only in use once per week during the summer months I was disappointed that it only lasted less than 2 seasons. A replacement battery is expensive. Update: replacement battery has died i.e. will not recharge. The mower has been used 3 times this year. I am giving up. It is almost as cheap to purchase an electric mower as it is to buy a battery. So annoyed.

Bought this and a spare battery a year ago. Initial finding was that the power wasn’t enough for anything but a high level cut, longer grass or a low cut would frequently stop the motor. The capacity of the storage is theoretically high, but isn’t really usable since the intake blocks, giving you perhaps half the capacity before emptying becomes necessary. After around 10 usages, the unit itself is pretty unusable, it starts sporadically, stops for no reason (even on no grass surface) and customer support is pretty non existent. It’s not inexpensive, so the performance and durability is very disappointing

I have had the mower for 3 years so time to write a review. It’s under powered even for a medium sized flat lawn I haven’t been able to use on the lower setting. Most importantly the batteries are a disaster. I have had 3 replacements under warranty and now I need a 4th which isn’t covered. They just die even though stored at 100% charge. I have now gone back to petrol. Think hard before buying this mower

UPDATE: June ’21. Updated to 5 stars. It really is a great mower. Light, easily manoeuvrable, great cut and excellent mulching feature. I have been using it a lot since late April and the lawn looks great. Mowing time has gone from about 35 mins with the corded Flymo to about 20 with this one. Battery still has about 40% left at the end.
INITIAL REVIEW: First of all I should say that I have not had a chance to use this yet for 2 reasons – it’s the wrong time of year and there was a fault (see below). So why did I buy this mower? Well, for the following reasons really: – good price on Amazon – mulching capability included, which is unusual or a chargeable extra with other makes – the Karcher brand (I know they are new to mowers but online reviews were positive) – additional free battery – advertised long run time on single charge (it needed to be at least 25 minutes for my lawn)
Positives: – Looks good – Feels solid and well made – Fast delivery from Amazon as usual – Karcher Support team are very responsive via online chat (see below)
I can’t comment on the performance or runtime until it’s first outing in the spring but will update this review and perhaps the rating then.
Negatives: Only 1 really so far. The front axle was not properly assembled when it left the factory (see picture). I contacted Karcher support (no response after a few days by email but then online chat within 1 minute) and was advised that missing parts could be dispatched (would take up to 3 weeks) or I could request replacement from Amazon. I tried the Amazon route but that said replacement was not an option ‘at this time’ for some reason. So back to Karcher and parts ordered.
So in summary I’m looking forward to trying this out in a few months but my overwhelming feeling is disappointment really with the Karcher quality control. This should not have left the factory with such a blatant fault. I just hope I haven’t been sent a ‘Friday afternoon’ example and that other problems await. Time will tell. Hence the 3 stars on this review.

I spent hours looking for a cordless lawnmower – looking at multiple reviews, multiple sites and at multiple brands. The reviews haven’t been overly helpful up until now if I’m honest, but this was probably the best all rounded product (for a good price that I could find), so I bought it. I actually bought the slightly cheaper Worx mower (and strimmer) on Amazon first, and that was a terrible decision. It took me three charges to get through about 100 sq/m worth of lawn. So I bought this, and after 3 mows I am very happy. It does a great job, I get through the mowing with about 25% of battery remaining, it’s effortless, the battery charges quickly, it feels solid, it has 4 settings which is plenty for me, and it has the rollers to get the great lines in your grass. I hope this is helpful – I know that I would have appreciated seeing this before I made my decision.
